Maybe he is being this way bcoz he saw in the DEK that all the begums n bandhis were against Ruqs and they were all supporting Jodha and he has also seen Jodha fight for the right in the past. So why can't he want Jodha to be the BEK ???

Yes Ruq has been rude and insensitive but does it mean you push her more towards it and make her desolate? Salima Begum was much better in dealing. Just because Jalal loves Jodha it does not mean he breaks off Ruq and leaves her all alone. Jalal should been considerate and sensitive of her feelings. He had been with Jodha when she was all depressed.

Lavanya, he is not playing games, he is being balanced with both, if it had not been, he wouldn't have supported Ruqu in Sabah. Only problem is that he doesn't know about MA's hand in this, he has seen people going against Ruqu and he has seen few examples already of her rude behaviour, he cares for her and that's y he is doing it.
