But
The case of movie was different.
Movie showed a good akbar only..
And serial is showing all shades of akbar...

Also congress never pays attention to such issue. But BJP does. And this makes me think in such a manner..

Karni sena has a problem with name.
And najma had problem with portrayal of akbar..!.and such scenes are bound to come in future also...

Since the BJP is a right wing nationalist part, they won't have any problem with a "bad Akbar". A secular muslim king is not one their ideals.

It is simply that they have never opposed it before and it does not make any sense to oppose it now. Najma Heptullah does not represent the views of the BJP, the minority leaders in the BJP don't have any clout or say.

But doesn't the social activisits or politics don't have much better work to do?? I mean, so many issues in the country, corruption, rapes, murders, but all they are worried about a historical character and a serial.

Seriously looking at the current political people, feel pity about ourselves, I mean imagine, all they are worried and protesting against a show and a historical character, where as they need to worry about so many important issues to be sorted.

We can only thank god that even if it is a worse case scenario, it is happening now and not 6 months earlier.

At that time the TRP was around 1.5, now it 6. The actors have already attained fame, the director has won awards, Ekta has got her dream of making a top rated historical. The success that everyone associated with the serial was hoping for has already been achieved.

Agree with u here...
But the point which i am saying is not that entire BJP will stand for this issue. I am just saying even voice an 'influencial' MP may cause some issue.

Also, even after the issue was raised by najma, a direction was given to I and B ministry to look into matter. The matter is on.

I never said 'Entire BJP' is going to focus on JA. 😊 .. Just that voice at few members also at times can have impact.. And yes, its pathetic that certain people focus on these issues despite various other problems. I also felt the same when these protests or demands in parliament were made..

***Just hope that they don't shut down the show, after all we all are watching for entertainment and discuss about history and history has many versions to it. Why so much protests, how is it showcasing anyone in bad light? The way they are behaving now, showcases them in bad light.

i agree! worst come worst they might wrap it up in few months and not show salim's birth, which ekta might have shown at some point!
