Tarazu scenes have been my personal favorite in this serial so far. They always had deeper meanings and symbolisms. Today's was no exception.

Wonderful words from Maham too. That the Ruq has moved so ahead in the game with her Audha and power play, that she has left Jalal alone. And Jodha has filled that void for Jalal. I too felt that Maham has left all hope for Ruq.

I was wondering, since Maham is all about power play, why is she not buttering up Jodha? She already knows that in the coming day's Jodha is going be more and more influential with Jalal. She is sharp enough to desert the sinking ship and all. Why has she not left Ruq's ship? Is it because she accused Maham of killing Jalal's child and then adham too during Tasneem's case? But, she can easily overcome that if it means she can still have the power. She is intelligent enough to do this.

She don't want Jodha to get the power... Even though she is sensing the change in JJ equation, but she very well knows that Ruqu may give up on Jalaal, but will not agree to loose the power...MA is just using Ruqu insecurities and somewhere keep reminding her to go after Jalaal & be his wife and all but Ruqu overconfident & blind to see the reality ..

If MA goes to jodha also, she can't instigate Jo against Ruqu, as she knows JO is different & not interested in power, also if she goes to JO then she will loose Ruqu who is puppet & also somewhere believe her words.. Now ruqu can go against her & her son, infact Ruqu gave pardon her son Adham... If she see JO is interested in power & also jalaal ready to give her then she might jump into JO party until now she is just using Ruqu to stop JJ closeness...

That is a very very good point about why maham has not latched on to Jodha after seeing she is ascending in power. I suspect it is because Jodha is not vulnerable to manipulation like Ruq. Maham can only work her chaals through someone who buckles under manipulation (i.e. that person must have some excessive emotional needs or weaknesses to exploit such as greed, insecurity, avarice, emotionality, moodswings etc etc.) Jodha may not be perfect but she is well brought up on good sankaars so she tends to be philosophical and driven by principles. That won't suit Maham, since she will always question whatever Maham says and not accept her judgements as gospel. Also maham has already showed her bad side to Jodha so now if she suddenly acts different with Jodha, this Jodha won't easily accept that!

But we can not also forget that family or Jalal is also her weakness sometimes. Sharif is exploiting it to get out the Jail. Going by the spoilers, Jodha do get him released. So, how difficult it is for Maham to pull this of? She is by far the most intelligent person in Agra right now.

But, this is just speculation, since Sharif is still in jail. 😃
