May I say to all that inviting Ruqu to travel as a commoner was the strategy from TE!!! Loved today's episode. Of course the shamsheer part was wow. But even otherwise, the episode was good mainly because of the new entrant.

Todar Mal was an interesting balanced intelligent polite and strong character who held his own with Jalal and not many can manage that. Unlike Tansen who was annoying, Todar Mal was calm and his astuteness and goodness shone through him. Jalal BADLY needs people like TM around him. (Agreed, art experts can be eccentric, but Tansen was outright offensive).

His judgement that 'badal' was not what he appeared to be and his concluding his style of fighting as Mughal style and finally presenting Humayun's shaahi mohur to him indicating that he has guessed his visitors identity and explaining to him that he never wronged his family personally and whatever was done was a part of his duty to his king was so delicately done.

Jalal's expression when Chishti baba spoke of Jo's becoming Mariam-uz-zamani was incredibility+joy. His controlled anger at remembering TM as SSS's aide was also very well done. Angry to have accepted the hospitality of someone related to his father's fall and his broken childhood and yet feeling duty-bound to protect his hosts - Jalal shone. Rajat is spoiling us with such good performances. The expressions of many other actors seem to fall woefully short nowadays. And his fight...tharas gaye they nayan is drishya ko dekhne..

Jalal Jodha equation too was perfect today. Jodha was the pleasant better half. Ever since Shivaani and Shivratri, the girl is an angel. Wish they had toned down her rudeness between epi 78 and 152.

As for the precap, no point crying over Ruqaiya-ruination hereafter...it seems to be a sure thing...so better to accept.😕

PS: Thanks to Adi, Ash, Trips and all others who thought of me when Jalal was out with a shamsheer.🤪

sandhya🤗..what a beautiful episode!..i was dying to see such class..am happy with how the show is going and trps ke to kya kehne..! rajat was outstanding again today and u r rt in saying that he is spoiling us with his great performance..to be honest i do not even feel like watching any other show because i miss rajat in them..brilliant👏..also todar mal was very good, can't wait for birbal's entry..i am sure his wits will add comic angle to the show..a much needed one..getting bored of javeda's time and again tested humor on her ammijaan😆
