Shivaani's fiasco is Bharmal's blunder. So Jodha should not be blamed. Then Ratanpur Qila too is Shariffu's fault. Why should Jalal pay with the fort? Didn't Jodha use her wiles to get her sister's wedding done? It is another thing that Jalal outsmarted everyone else there and came out victor.

Ash..ruku lives in a hallucination that she controls Jalal's brain, but there is actually no one (If the CVS want to) in the empire who can control Jalal's brain..😉

I don't think it is that at all. It is just that it makes him furious to see anyone handle Jodha badly. He is extremely protective of her.

As for Rajat, he daily sets new benchmarks in consistent excellence .
