At the current timeline being shown Fatehpur Sikri would be called only Sikri where Salim Chisti saahab stayed. And Akbar did build a Rang Mahal there for his use where Jodha / HK stayed when she was 6 months pregnant with Salim till some time after the child was born.

Abb when this Rang Mahal was built will need to be verified. But the city was built after 1569 and Akbar moved here in 1574 and named the city Fatehpur or Fathpur Sikri in 1574. He kept this place as his capital till 1589. It is said that the city was abandoned due to water but personally I have always felt it was due to the demise of both Todar Mal and Birbal which happened in 1589 that Akbar left the city.

After this period till 1599 he did not stay at any one place for long but kept a moving court. He returned to Agra in 1599 and stayed there till his death in 1605.

if he builds palace for her in fatehpur which means she wont live in agra...than where will jalal live

But was it built so early? When was that Rang Mahal built? And to what purpose? When he still lives in Agra, why would poor Jo live in Fatehpur Sikhri?😭

Did he build a palace as a thanks giving to God where Jo later stayed when pregnant?

I have a feeling that Zee may have not given the correct news regarding the palace. It may be that Jalal expresses a wish to make Sikri his capital one day. It is said that Akbar never did like Agra due to his associating the place with negative memories (his loss of his father mainly). Toh he may tell Jodha that he would prefer to shift his capital to Sikri one day and baaton baaton mei kahe ki woh Jodha ke liye alag mahal banwayega not wanting her to stay in the harem since it puts a restriction on her being able to meet her maayke waale freely!!! Akbar does have a big soft corner for Maan Singh - farsand maana hai usko!!! Toh yeh shaayad aane waale waqt ke liye Jalal ka sapna ho sakta hai. The Rang Mahal, if my sources are rt., was built in 1569 when Jodha / HK was staying with Chisti saahab for her safe delivery, becoz she did not stay at any royal place but in Chisti Saahab's humble home where Salim was born.
