Hmm ok well am sure it was Alexander who said this too!

But then , as Mandy said , all Great men think alike. ⭐️

This was told to Alexander by an Indian sage - what do you want to conquer so much land for when you will not be able to take it with you when you die (something to this effet dont remember the exact words of the sage). But then as Mandy says all gr8 men think alike!!! And there are 3 who have great as a suffix to their name - Alexander, Ashoka and Akbar - Zaahir si baat hai inki soch bhi ek jaisi hogi!!!

Infact Shyamala, now that I have read quiet a few takes on the Awaam speech, I have my own view - The Emperor has just turned MH's line of 'Mohabbat ek Badshah ko ghutne pe le aata hai' on its head by making Love his greatest strength - he found the well of humility within and made it into his own personal ocean - this man has converted what could have become his greatest weakness into his greatest strength in one single stroke!!!

Had jodha recovered sooner jalal wouldn't have recovered that part of himself at all. He has been very confident so far that nothing is beyond his reach. He can as the shahenshah of hindustan achieve anything on his own ability and accord or even if a mistake has been he can correct it with his strength.

Jodha has been the first that he couldn't conquer... not with fear as in the beginning nor with his charm and goodness as he tried later on. Just as ruqu stated he had become a hunter obsessed with what he couldn't win over. Worried that it might be the dreaded mohabbat as referred to by mh he then began to avoid her but was surprised that he wasn't able to. Jitna bhulana chaaha utna woh yaad aayee. He was angry with himself at his failure to command himself and spat out at jo who was responsible for his turmoil.

When he realised that he was on the verge of losing her and nothing was in his power to win this battle between life and death he turned to God. Though he had always been religious his confidence in himself had always been there. As he tells in the dargah in epi 31 I think when they show him and jo pray parallelly he claims to write his destiny himself and is surprised when told that he will be guided by God and kismat.

When he sees jo tandoor-fied he realizes his utter powerlessness and turns to the awaam for support. And finally he admitted to his heart and mohabbat as a last ditch attempt and called her back from his heart. Together the battle was won. He realised that awaam , prayers and mohabbat were more powerful than his own confidence and abilities. What he saw as an abiding weekness and so refused to acknowledge so far (though there was nothing heartless in his behaviour so far) turned out to be his ultimate strength to pull her back from the jaws of death.

Dumbledore says that music has more magic than anything taught at Hogwarts. Love too does. Jalal realised that strength and was proud to acknowledge his dil in his speech to the awaam. Yes adi, what he saw as a weakness became his strength in one stroke.

I was quite skeptical and flustered with the soul talk on Wednesday. But as aunty said it was a necessary one to make him realise the thaakath that lies in true mohabbat and that love is not a symbol of weakness. He realised the true strength of his own mohabbat. Her responses in the soul talk was also his mind talking what HE thought would be her responses. He doesn't know what she will think in reality but as of now is content of his newly found strength.

Really well said, San!!

But Dumbledore said that about music. Music, has more power than anything taught at Hogwarts.

But it truly should've been said about Love. It truly does have more power than what we realise, like an universal Ripple Effect.

And Jalal has finally realised it.. Though I've always suspected that the reason why he repeats to himself 10 times a day that he has no heart is because he realises just how big a heart he actually has!! 😉

P.S. My favourite bit on Love from the HP series is during Slughorn's potion lesson. When he talks about the immense power Love has & Draco scoffs at it. He sharply turns to him & says, "oh when you've seen as much of Life as I have, you'll never under-estimate the obsessive power of Love".. And Harry notes Snape walking by just at that moment. 😊

And also the Department of Mysteries.. WHAT I WOULD GIVE TO BE AN UN-SPEAKABLE!!!

Oh yes tripps. Slipped me. I'm off to correct.

Of course jalal realises that he has a big heart and is scared of it as he sees it as a weakness and hence the mighty negations. Now he has realised that it can a strength too.

Yeah I know but she did a back hug now a similar frontal hug will do. Ekta Maiya can show the slow motion and frozen one later on from different angles striking at screen abruptly and the loud BG. He hugged Ruq, remember. Jodha has accepted Jalal as her own its only for conjugal rights that she is delaying😉😆 Otherwise the guy is taken😆😆

My darling girls,

Thank you for being so understanding! If that is what it is, and not a disguised complaint!😉

It is true, Lashykanna, I get worn out responding. I save the ones from my gang for the last, and try and clear the rest, but even sitting up to nearly 3 am last night I could not manage it. I am simply lousy with time management, and if I do back to back posts, it is pure slogging after a while and never gets done.

Tripti and Sandhya, thanks for making such a cat's cradle of my last thread that I can no longer locate the ones needing a response. I am sure I saw something in passing, from my old friend from the PR forum, Janhvi (soapwatcher 1) but it seems to be untraceable now. So I have happily abandoned that whole thread after holding Ariel's hand. A major reprieve, all thanks to my chipmunks!😉

Well, let me get to Tripti's first! Love you both.

Shyamala Aunty

On a more serious note I TOTALLY understand... 😕 it is so so time consuming writing an analysis and then replying to every answer in detail...

Oh, yes! She replied to the rest of mine though 🥳

Just just just as I was going to heaven having read her post 😭... you brought me back down...

Thanks trips correction done.🤗
Those exact words were related to music.
But Dumbledore describes love as a great power and the power meant by the prophecy. The power that Harry had which Voldermot did not.

I've wondered at the very many things in the Dept of Mysteries too.
Again at the working of the time turner. How much could be done with it.
I've also wondered why people didn't use it to go back and investigate crimes. It would have been easier to realise that peter was the criminal and not sirius.

Then that veil. It still scares me. What were the noises on the other side.

Btw, on behalf of lashy and myself, I welcome you to the nautanki club. 🤣
