Salaam Namaste people! This is Disha here one last time giving you the written update on a monday. Yes,this will be my last update for my dearest Jodha Akbar forum. Its been an amazing journey,the past 7 months and I'm really honoured that I was given this oppurtunity! 18th june was a very "shubh" day. Since my dearest Rajat made his comeback! Im so fortunate to have been able to give written updates here. Thanks to all my friends here. 🤗 And the DTs-Hina,Deepz and Jyo di. Most importantly my fellow coolbie Most of all to Khushi di(Amor.) and Riti(-Celestial) who filled in for me even at extremely short notices.Love you guys! 🤗 Ek coolbie hi jaane doosre coolbie ke dard 🤪Okay okay now,I have a very important update to give 😆 This is Disha-one last time. 😃 Hope u'll liked my updates.And yes,i did try to make them long and post them as early as i could.

W r i t t e n U p d a t e
The episode began with Jalal and Jodha in their respective chambers praying to the Almighty.
Meanwhile,Maham comes to escort Benazir to the wedding. In the wedding hall(which was beautiful btw),everyone was waiting for Jalal to arrive. Jodha is tensed.
As Jalal arrives,the wedding rituals are begun with the gifts' acceptance at first,followed by the "muh dikhaayi".The Qazi asks Benazir and Jalal to step forward the same.As they look down into a huge bowl of water to look at each other's reflection,Jalal notices Jodha wo was seated farther,yet,he couldn't help but look at her reflection.With this,he recalls his wedding to Jodha and the way the same ritual was done.
Next,the bride and groom are asked to feed each other some "sevaiyya".The delicacy is tasted by Maham first to assure safety of the emperor. Benazir being her over-smart self,takes the bowl,but keeps aside the spoon. She consumes it directly from the bowl,causing her saliva to get mixed with the rest of the delicacy. As she hands over the bowl to Jalal now,Jodha comes forward in full pace and takes it away from him.
Jalal is obviously annoyed by her behaviour and he says "yeh kaisi behoodgi hai Jodha Begum" (What kind of indecency is this Jodha Begum?).Jodha replies by saying,she knows he is very angry at her. To an extent that he doesn't even want to look at her,but she requests him to look at her because this would probably be the last time to see her alive. Just like he doesn't want to look at her,she doesn't want to watch him die.
With that,she consumes the contents of the bowl in one go. Jalal who was angry and confused until now,panics as she faints within no time. As she loses balance,Jalal runs to safeguard his Jodha Begum. Jodha's conscience is fading now and in that dizziness,she mutters "shahenshah...Humne apna kartavya nibhaaya..." (Shahenshah,I did my duty..)
As her eyes shut,Jalal roars.He orders the Hakim to tend to her immediately.
When Jodha fainted,the ministers around immediately laid their swords on Bneazir's throat.
As the maids take away Jodha to her chamber,Benazir thinks fast and grabs Ruqaiya as hostage. The minsters are now forced to step back. Jalal is mighty angry by now. Benazir is still very hopeful of her escape,she boasts about her murder plot and about her association with Abul Maali. Everyone is forced to stay put for the sake of Ruqaiya.
As Benazir escapes,with Ruqaiya still held as hostage. Atga and clan follow her.
Jalal rushes to his Jodha Begum with panicky thoughts. As he enters her chamber,he sees her lifeless body and pale face.The Hakim and all the other women were seated beside her. Feeling as guilty as ever,he gently sits beside her and grazes her forehead. He enquires about her condition with the Hakim,who replies saying that the next 8 prahars were critical.
Jalal's moist eyes are now filled with rage and he roars now. "This is all because of Abul Maali. I want him beheaded,RIGHT NOW!" he yells.
As he comes back to sit beside Jodha,hsi eyes are moist again.
Adham who had planned on getting Atga Khan killed soon after Jalal's murder by Benazir was worried now. The plan had gone horribly wrong and he feared Benazir being caught and disclosing his hand in this.
The soldiers who had gone to behead Abul find that he had run away from the jail.As they come to inform Jalal,Jalal is furious. He lashes out at them "My one wife's life is in danger,the other has been kidnapped. And the one who is responsible for all of this has become a fugitive? Where were the spies?Where were the soldiers?Where were the jailers? Is this all a joke?! I want everyone responsible to be punished rightaway.Enough with this nuisance!" he screeches.
Meanwhile,Benazir is on a horse in her attempt to escape.She throws Ruqaiya midway and then drags her towards a bush. Ruqaiya somehow manages pulling a stone from the ground and smashes Benazir's head with it,giving enough time for Atga and the rest to capture Benazir.
Zakira was caught by Maham in the palace,as she tried escaping with Benazir.
Precap : The hakim tells Hamida that there is no possibility of Jodha's survival. All the women are in shock. Scene changes,Jalal is in a dargah,in prayer,sobbing uncontrollaby,begging the Lord to save his Jodha. "I beg you Lord" he pleads "please save my Jodha..Please Lord. The emperor oh Hindustan is begging the emperor of the universe." Jalal was completely broken and in a wretched state.
