In terms of both the writing style and the content, this part is superior to the last one.
Jalal's asking the awaam, Hindus and Muslims alike, to pray for Jodha's survival was very well thought out. As was Jodha's moving farewell to Jalal, just before he effectively pulls her back from the gates of death.
What I did not like was your making Jodha go down the same old path, and being distant and chilly towards Jalal. I do hope the screen Jodha does not behave the same way. I am pretty sure she will not; she will be so happy about her having been able to save him, and limp with relief at the lifting of the unbearable tensions of the last few week, that she will never think of slighting Jalal and punishing him. At least I hope so.
