In Delhi many roads are named after Mughal emperors and their relatives like Akbar Road, Aurangzeb Road, Bhagwan Das Road. Are roads in other cities also named after them any idea?
Usually roads are named after the rulers who ruled the place. But sometimes rulers of other places are honoured by naming roads after them. So just was curious about which places have roads named after Mughals or their relatives?
The one name that i found common in many places and cities is after "Father of nation-Mahatma Gandhiji". Every city has a road usually named M.G. Road. Is there a smiliar instance in your cities?
Does any place have a road named after Jodha?

I checked, its named after Rao Jodha its founder King
Jodhpur history revolves around the Rathore Clan. Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan, is credited with the origin of Jodhpur in India. He founded Jodhpur in 1459. The city is named after him only. It was previously known as Marwar.
