Boy, the CVs are not making it easy to be positive as they end the Benezir track. I think knowing how terrible today's episode is they gave us a surprise promo treat of how Jodha is going to save Jalal- trying to provide a lollipop in the midst of this disaster. If tomorrow is the mehndi, I am hoping the wedding will be done by Friday.
So we have suffered so much with this track, there is really no point in giving up today right?
So, here is an attempt to find a few positives from today's episode:
1. The Jalal- HB scene: Sure, Jalal was over- confident and in the end of the day did not listen to HB. However, there was a mother- son bonding moment when he said that I will be with you as long as you live. What he does not know that that will be thanks to the efforts of Jodha. I am looking forward to the bonding of HB and Jalal once MA is out of the picture.
2. I was hating the parallels between Jodha-Jalal scenes and Ben- Jalal scenes- when Ben used the dialogue " ek kashti mein sawaar" with reference to AK I was glad the new Jodi was now Ben- AK. What a made for each other Jodi ! 😉 This is also proves to me the writers have limited creativity and hence they reuse scenes and dialogues. It is not because they wanted to show that Ben-Jalal and Jodha-Jalal have any parallels. Phew!
3. The higher you fly the greater you fall: ruqaiyya went rock bottom today with changing Jodha's room and she is beyond redemption, which is probably what he CVs want. However, all this means is that when the truth is out, the greater she will fall and which is why she will be all the more jealous of Jodha (could the next track be any more subtle). I look forward to seeing. Jalal's reactions- how great would it be that he is trying to take a fainted Jodha to her room and Ruqs tells her room has changed and he looks at her with complete anger and takes Jodha to his room. Will be lucky enough to get such a scene? If he find out now, he would probably agree with Ruqs to make her baaghin more jealous.
4. Another abshugan: while I know Jodha will get blamed for it, I am glad she made yet an other abshugan during the mehndi. I am glad none of the rasams are going as planned. I hope HB is there to control the taunts against Jodha.
5. Today, I am going to cheat and add the promo to the list. If anything it is saying the end of this track is near and that is all I want. I don't care ho or what. I just care when!
Any other positives? If not, feel free to vent here. The episode was that bad.
