That' was the limit.

Somehow am not angry with Ruqqu or MA or Adham as much as with Jalaal.

How could he be so blind to their flaws that he has given them this amount of freedom?

I don't think that will ever happen, sadly.

Ruq is not only his wife but also his bestie though a very poor one. Jalal never physically abused Jodha even when he hated her. He respects women.

Zyada se zyada he will raise his hand but will stop in mid-air. This would be enough to be taken as insult by Ruq.

may be his kids...i read when salim/jehangir came back first time after rebellion back to agra palace he slapped him for rebelling against him that is more of a parental correction and put him in house arrest for 10 days or so

otherwise i do not think he ever raise hands on wives, siblings etc
