Soldiers all around the lake area. Saleema & Jodha around the area. Jodha, with her bow & arrow & she shoots at Benazir! The arrows hit her & pierce her.. But alas! It is a dream!
Saleema urges her to shoot quickly & wonders what she is waiting for. Jodha: "Hum bhi yahin soch rahi hain. Par isne Hume vivash kar diya hain"
and shoots.. But the arrows hit the water & drown!
Jalal ducks & screams, "Benazir..!" and pushes her down.
Saleema urges Jodha to return to the palace & Jodha tells her she knows a gupt marg.
At the palace Saleema is praising Jodha & her bravery when Jalal walks by & gives her a very gambheer stare.
Diwaan-E-Khaas is called & Jalal tells the audience that this cannot be his enemy or Abu Mali because if it was so these arrows would've killed him! But no. This had to be someone he knows ( Ah! Dare I say he is BACK? 😳) These arrows were for Benazir, not for him.. "Hume pata hain hamlawaar kaun hain.. Takliyah !"
Everyone disperses, Jodha gives a pranaam when she is stopped.
Jalal walks to her seat & through the curtain asks her, "Aapko kya lagta hain Jodha Begum? Kaun hain Humaare hamlawaar? Kyun kiya unhone Humaare saath aisaa?"
Jodha: "Um um. Shayah woh insaan Aapko us paar jaane nahin denaa chahte ho?"
Jee Jodha begum ! Hume bhi aisa hi lagta hain. Par Aap bhi Hume Benazir ke paas nahin dekhna chahtee to kya Aapne Hum pe hamlaa kiya hain?"
Jodha looks flustered.. And Jalal says, "nahin! Nhain Jodha begum.. Aap Hum par thodi na humlaa kar sakti hain."
P.S. "nahin Saleema begum. Shahenshaah jaan chuke hain ki Hum hi the jisne unpe hamlaa kiya. Par naa uhone Hume dand diya, naa daanta. Bas chale jaane ko keh diya. Pata nahin kyun."
