Nice pic of Mumtaz..what a beautiful lady! Someday I hope to visit the Taj Mahal and other Mughal architectural splendors like fatehpur sikri when I visit India!

@History_geek

Hi Abhay! 😊 Is this the picture you are referring to? Is that Salim in the background? Which one of Akbar's daughter is also in the background? I wish I could read the Farsi captions on the picture...can you please try to translate it (It would be nice to know who the woman and man in the background are)? Thanks! ⭐️

P.S.

Keep up the splendid work both of you!

@brownprincess Plz, keep posting more of these beautiful portraits!

@History_geek
Abhay, thank you so much for all your historical posts and your funny ones too!😃

Your threads are the reason why I have not given up on JA yet...after the Shivani plus lover-boy kangiman and Benazir tracks I thought I was just wasting my time watching a fictional show..but thanks to your amazing research that a Vishkanya was at Akbar's court, gave me hope that the CVs have not completely lost their minds. You posts always keep me anxious to see if the historical events that you mention will be shown in the show. I am still waiting for the day that baby faced Hakim and his diabolical mom will show their true colors... I even have bets placed with family members for this!😉

P.P.S.I received your P.M. about a month ago, but I thought that since your inbox is probably bursting with messages...I should save you the trouble of reading another message!😊 Please do send me P.M.s when you update any of your threads with important info, i'm always eagerly waiting to learn more about MUZ and Akbar!

Also no rush, but some forum fans and I, who follow your posts would like to know how many kids MUZ and Akbar had, so please do post this when you have the time! Thanks in advance!

I agree Tripti (I hope I spelled your name right!😊), she is gorgeous! Akbar was a lucky guy! Plus he is good looking too!😉

P.S. I am a silent reader/ fan of your posts, so keep up the good work!

Here are some other pictures you may like...

Our favorite epic couple... (So cute!)😊

Here they are again looking just as glamorous as the previous pic...

Here is another pic, MUZ/Jodha is in a more Rajistani outfit...but looks just as stunning...

Here is Jodha/MUZ in European clothing (I do not think she wore these cloths...but it is the artist's imagination since some people thought she was christian because her title was Miriam uz Zamani)

In honor of Sheikh Salim Cristi ji's recent prediction of the much awaited love story in JA ... Here is a picture of him and Akbar...the sheikh has a halo and Akbar is dress in white...

Here is our favorite emperor as a kid with his mom and dad (Empress Hamida Banu and Shenshah Humayun)...

Yes! Please do add this pic into your thread, so that other forum members can see this as well!😊

Do you by any chance know what the Farsi captions on the pic say? (just curious...)

Thanks,

Ika

Yes! You spelt my name absolutely correctly. What's your name? 😊

Aw, thank you. 😛

YES! He's extremely lucky!! She's absolutely stunning!!!

Btw,Akbar didn't look like how he looks in the first photo. A lot of painters during that period painted the Emperor & his family to be far better looking than they actually were 😉. It was Akbar who put a stop to such a practice because he wanted realism in his paintings

But Jodha was indeed, very beautiful & gorgeous. Akbar was short. 5'5. And stocky but extremely intelligent & immensely shrewd. Very brave too! 😳

I'm Ika (short for Krithika)

I agree Akbar was short and handsome😉...such a cute couple! I never knew Akbar wanted realistic portraits made (thanks for the info!)... so they were just as good looking as they are portrayed!😃

Jodha definitely was! They say Akbar infact looked Mongolian like his father & mother. Jehangir onwards, the Mughal men & Emperors looked totally Hindustaani. Due to their inter-faith marriages & acclimitisation to Hindustaan.

Jodha was an absolute gem. Not for her beauty ( though that is always a HUGE advantage!! 😉) but because of her intelligence, great warror skills & religious temperament. From what I've readd, she was shrewd & simple at the same time & was definitely the most important lady at Akbar's court. Akbar loved her dearly. That much to me (thanks to Abhay!) has now become absolutely clear.

She was LOVELY!

I'm very sure that it is MUZ and Akbar ! 😆 Yes, I too have never seen a portrait of any of his other wives (if they even exist?) I'm just super curious about the man and woman in the background! I just want to know if this is a family pic (would be awesome if it is!) and if the guy in the background is their son Salim or just a servant! Thanks a bunch for P.M. ing the other member, and please do post when you find out!😊

Thanks,

Ika
