I think by that defintion even Salima and a few other begums cannot be his wife as he may not be having physical relation with them too So i doubt Jalal was really referring to the physical aspect in DEK when he said you have not fulfilled wife duty

See there are somethings no human forgets actually - if you physically hurt a person human forgives but words last in memory longer

Like when jodha was in amer she told jalal to leave to agra so that sukanya marriage happens nicely

Jodha did not show any emotion or sympathy when he himself told her ratanpur fort has memories of his father and him as a child yet he gave it to sukanya's inlaws. Jodha never said thanks from heart or felt bad that he lost the fort in such circumstance

Jodha always saying rajvanashi better than mughals- no man will accept that his family is wrong/bad/lesser than wife family

Jodha bad mouthing him in front of maids, body gaurds in past

I guess all those words are still in jalal's mind and hence he removed anger in DEK

Similarly Jodha will have grudges on jalal for past acts like MC time hence she rejected him on that night when he went to her to express his feelings and wanted to have relationship

These both need some alone time to sort issues and get to know each other- like honeymoon. Hamida banu pls pack these two alone to some place for few days

According to him if she share bed with him then only she is wife.
He forgot how she saved his marriage with his precious wife Ruqu , he forgot abt his bday gift, he forgot who helped him to catch the killer of his unborn child
