Which husband even in this age is very magnanimous about the public scandal caused by his wife's family to his family, even when the wife is not totally guilty. And he was the Emperor. All kings including MP knew about the proposed wedding. They will also now know of the scandal. We can argue that it was not Jodha's fault, true, but sadly all husbands take it out only on their wives. Moreover the insult of the Shove still remains in his mind. Till the misunderstandings clear, yeh sab toh chalta rahega.If there is anyone to blame in the entire affair it is MA.Jodha can misunderstand him in the snake wala scene. Of course she can. I only said there were no apologies after that. You should also allow him to misunderstand. But I can assure you that he will apologise, once things are cleared.
