Nobody will be there to save Jallad if she bites him while pretending to kiss him. so for Ben this marriage can be biggest opportunity...

But ben will not actually prefer the marraiage to jalal (though it looks attractive to be the Begum of the Shahenshah) because ben will be afraid that her daily poison-fix that she needs will expose her easily to jalal. So ben would rather prefer to bite Jalal as fast as possible and do her mission and run off to save her own life than to be executed by Jalal if she becomes his begum and he gets to know her daily poison habit from close quarters.

So actually the marriage announcement may make Ben eager to bite Jalal as soon as possible before the marriage and run. I think this is the route the Creatives will take to show Jlala exactly what he feels for Jodha after he sees that she has put her life on the line for him and she was prepared to take the bite and was telling the truth!
