And so the game begins.........

Our lovable TE thought he had acquired all the rights to clean-bowling the enemy with his brains and brawns...but today I think TE himself got clean-bowled when Jodha walked into the DEK adoring a very beautiful Mughal attire. ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜†

Jodha really did score a sixer on that ๐Ÿ˜†

Jalal kept nihaarofying her ...but he is TE...so he made sure to avert his eyes everytime Jodha looked his way...I was laughing at his enchanted-but-only-in-secret glances at her ...It was so cute and so Tedha...just like him ๐Ÿคฃ

And Jalal scores in the next scene...tareef bhi kar diya aur apni "beizzati" ka panchnama bhi padhwa diya ๐Ÿคฃ.
What to do with this gullible man !
Insult bhi karega...aur der raat ko tareef bhi sunaayega ๐Ÿคฃ

And what were MA's expressions when she was spying on Shivani, MH and Tejwant. ๐Ÿคฃ Wazir-e-Aliya aka Jasoos-e-Aliya ๐Ÿคฃ

But but but...the winner of the game is...Tejwant ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Pehle Shahenshah ke mahal mein ghus gaya, phir future-unsuccessful dulhe se apni tareef karwali aur phir future Bhagam-princess ke saath ek jhappi bhi maarli. I like it ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Isse kehte hai ek teer aur kahi nishaaney ๐Ÿคฃ

I dont know about others but I am seriously enjoying this track ๐Ÿ˜†. I know people are worried and upset about the Becharinazar and the future Insult-a-thon of Jodha but I am not worried about it at all ๐Ÿ˜Ž. And I am not speaking of the historical aspect of it. ๐Ÿ˜›

You see I still remember when a BGvoice said in the show..."yeh kahani shamsheer ke dhaar par chali aur paayal ki jhankaar bhi nahin bhooli."

If we think about it, walking on the edge of a sword demands the sacrifices of blood and pain. Why else will this love story be different than the many love stories out there? ๐Ÿ˜†

Jalal is still a young ruthless, manipulative Shahenshah just finding his way and not the Akbar we revere. Jodha is still the young stubborn spoilt princess who is growing up bit by bit after her marriage and not the Mallika-e-Hindustan we know. And thus at such a stage of struggle for power, respect, royalty and recognition...is it a wonder that love must cross several hurdles to prove itself ? ๐Ÿ˜†

And I am happy our TE continually forces Jodha to prove herself in big and small ways...Not only does she prove her goodness but the jaded Emperor also learns and does something new whenever he is with her.

Neither is Jalal in love with her yet and neither is Jodha...neither of them are perfect...they both have deep feelings for each other but that is buried under mistrust, anger, ego and most importantly DENIAL. Make that LOTS of Denial ๐Ÿคฃ

We know Jodha will turn the Warrior into a Ruler. But yeh karne ke liye woh weekend mein lecture classes toh nahin degi Jalal ko right? ๐Ÿคฃ It will be her struggles and her fights with and against him that will teach Jalal how to rule and not just how to win. ๐Ÿ˜† Aur iske liye Kekta Mata will provide us ample angsty tracks. So buckle up and enjoy the ride ๐Ÿคฃ

More importantly each new fight seems to make their feelings more deeper ๐Ÿ˜†. Aur kya chaahiye mujhe ? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I dont mind if JJ take another year or two to finally confess their love ๐Ÿ˜›...because I love the journey more than the destination ๐Ÿ˜†. Its their struggles and fights that are slowly shaping their relationship...So I am all for more struggles.

Woh pyaar hi kya jo aasaani se haasil ho jaaye,
Woh ishq hi kya jo dard se haar jaaye,
Woh mohabbat hi kya jo musibat ke aage jhuk jaaye.

I think I blabbered a bit too much ๐Ÿ˜•. Sorry ๐Ÿคฃ. Bohot din baad aayi hu na, isi liye ๐Ÿคฃ

my fav lines - Jalal is still a young ruthless, manipulative Shahenshah just finding his way and not the Akbar we revere. Jodha is still the young stubborn spoilt princess who is growing up bit by bit after her marriage and not the Mallika-e-Hindustan we know. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

- How pompous this sounds!!! I am srry if I sound rude but I do not believe that any person can "Turn" another into anything and I do not believe anyone can teach another anything. As the Mother (Mother Mira) said - We are all born knowing everything, all we need to do is seek it. And my belief is that we change becoz we want to for ourselves.

So in my book Jodha is the doorway for Akbar to find his 'Self', his 'Soul'. And not to make Jalal into an Akbar. No one can do that. Only Akbar could do it - Jodha was the opportunity that the Universe gave him, which he took with both hands.

Thinking of Jodha being the one who changes Jalal/Akbar may sound feminist but in my book it is highly self glorifying of womanhood. And as a woman, I would rather be a liberal, than fall into the pit of self glorification.

Right...we all know its a tear-jerker ahead...so better to be ready with umbrellas rather than adding to the shower of rona-shona ๐Ÿ˜†. All will be better in the end. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Awesome post... loved your writing and most importantly the last shairee..haaye..haaye. Maashallah..kya baath kahi..aadaabh.

Very well said... its the journey which is more interesting than the destination... but, I want it to be katti aur meethi...not boring..though. Lets see.
