What I don't get is that, why does everybody dream of becoming a Shahenshah?

Shareefuddin and Abul Mali are related by marriage. Adham Khan is Jalal's milk brother. But they forget that Jalal is not the only son of Humayun.

If Jalal dies, the best claim to the throne is of Mirza Hakim as he is Humayun's son. Why don't these people understand that until they have a humungous army to takeover the sultanate, Jalal's death will not place them any better. Sending a talented venom-spouting dancer and wrestler to kill Jalal & co., is just a waste of resources (however lame they might be).

The nobles and awaam are more likely to accept Mirza as the emperor, since he is a son of Humayun and brother of Akbar, than any one of them.

How many serials have u seen to have followed reason?😆

Well if i have to find reasons, then may be Adham, Sharif and Abu are very strong people, and they had quite much influence on the noblemen of DEK, so it will be easier to control them and make them on their favor... and common people are not their concern... its becoz they can subdue them with power and military force.

But they are just mansabdaars na. Mirza Hakim is an imperial prince. Uska influence kahin zyada hoga.

During ancient times, there are instances of such kind wrestled thrones in history - by vazirs, senapatis not just in India but all over the world

Plus Adham and Sharifuddin are fools
MahamA is arrogant enough to believe she can get away with doing anything (so far she has so why will she think otherwise!)

Frankly in those times for common man one Mugal was like any other, it is only after years Jalal acquired the Akbar tag, so they would not have cared

If the plan with Jalal had succeeded then next in line of fire would have been Mirza Hakim
