in real also akbar was a great dad to salim yes strict on some matters like whom he can marry etc (because salim was not street smart to recognise the women he loved really loved his position as crown prince and future emperor not him as individual) but otherwise a very good dad more like 21st century dad to salim atleast very loving and caring and forgiving
