Fine if cheapu loves Jodha, has he even shown an inkling of change? He knows what she's made of...he knows her qualities though hasn't interacted with her much...has this 'love' or even 'passion' made him change anything at all..instead he was still out destroying her sister's wedding...😕

Jalal without having love for Jodha (as many now claim) has undergone MASSIVE changes for her... 😳

That's precisely where I'd beg to differ😛...remember, the whole fiasco where he saved Jodha from suicide attempt, they had absolutely no relationship then - in fact they hated each other then- yet, he saved her and took her in through the khoofiyaa route to keep her izzat after having given her a good dressing-down! Yes yes yes, he said he did it all for the izzat of the mughal sultanat (and we know that was a big part of it) but, he also did it for something else - if not, he'd have just taken that lock of her hair that had clung to his robe and thrown it away like a piece of dirt...not gone on to find a reflection of his feelings in it!

If this is not affection what is?😳

Isn't it regressive to come up with this argument for the leading lady..that she's ok to marry a guy who's more than capable of taking her against her will, as long as he does it only with her? Polygamy was the norm in the 16th century, marital rape was not!

Also, shareef is only a subedaar...the higher the post/position more the wives - cos the men needed to be richer to support more family members...

If given two choices to him - i.e. power/money/position and the other, Jodha - do you really have a doubt which one he'll choose?😆
