The actors in this show are amazing. Every week, I say to myself that I didn't even know this high quality of acting could exist in Indian television. The entire cast pulls through and I don't even mind seeing negative characters on screen; that's how good they are. I'm always in awe of everyone's talent.
Some may disagree with me, but I love the sets on the show. I've been watching the same kind of show all my life, the modern household set in India, so the sets I've seen are just eh. They've been pretty amazing on JA for the most part. The settings during the Ajmer trip, and Mohan, and Sukanya's wedding all added spiritual, dramatic, and joyous elements to the show.
I also love our characters. I love how they are so flawed and imperfect. I know some people have issues with these flaws or having their favorite character's flaws called out, but I think it makes the show much more interesting. Being royalty, these people have serious expectations to live up to but I'm totally cool whenever they mess up because it proves that all humans make mistakes. It's how you deal with those mistakes that helps you grow.
This show is supposed to be a journey. No matter what happens, any journey is guaranteed to have its ups and downs. If it was smooth sailing throughout, I would be quite bored. We really need to step back and look at how far we've come and how far we still need to go. In the big picture, there's so much left to see and I, for one, am looking forward to it.
