Well! Well! Well! So the Emperor was wating to whip up mob frenzy and his requirement was for someone to this for him!!!

And all Jodha did was tell him to get Ruqu to inform the ppl of Adham's actions. She did not expect him to get Ruqu to do so immediately!!!

Apna tedha Emperor realised the potential of Ruqu's address in whipping up the mob frenzy!!!

The fact of the final firmaan already made and ready to be read out is proof that Tedha Emperor was expecting this outcome!!!

And what a way to let MA and AK knw that they are nobody before the Emperor and his ppl!!!

This Emperor is not Tedha - He is Maha Tedha!!!

Poor Jodha is being maligned that she is leading him in leading strings and that he is being led by her just as he was led by MA and Ruqu!!!

Infact if we look back, the Tedha Emperor made on his own all the major decisions. But he has always let MA and Ruqu think that they have a say and a hold on his mind!!! How juvenile can they be!!!!

And can this Emperor be any more tedha than this - he has got all these power hungry vultures thinking that they can sway him!!!

The moment Adham challenged Jalal in court with the the demand that he divorce Ruqaiya, he had to be punished. No one can be allowed to question the emperor. But since he was Maham's son and since his argument had some validity he could not be punished directly. Other than the emperor who else has the power to punish Adham, only the public.

So, now the course of action was to rile the public up to such an extent, that in the end Maham was left with no option but to beg for her son's life. By punishing Adham but sparing his life, Jalal has shown himself to be magnanimous in the eyes of others. The people don't know that Jalal had already prepared the firman in advance, they think he has changed his mind because of their pleading, he wins their affection too.

Jodha thinks she has been clever and has helped Ruqaiya, it is in Jalal's interest to let everyone think that way so that he can build trust between Ruqaiya and Jodha.

It is Jalal who wins all around.
