The episode disappointed me especially Ruqlal scenes...If she is the only mallika for him and they are so comfortable with each other, where is the need for Jodha?

I definitely dont want Jallu to go after her because Ruku might turn negative or insecure or anything...I want him to fall for Jo when everything is going right in his life...
Where is the epic romance? JJ have no chemistry between them...It was so obvious during their two minutes scene...There was nopassion no awkwardness between them...when ppl are in love they hide it from everyone , ,even from the person they are falling in love with...They are scared to look at the person they are falling for...where is all this between Akdha?
As far as Jo's decision of not coming between RJ, then why did she marry him? This is 16th century romance not a modern love story ...We audiance are intelligent enough to realise that Jodha is not the other woman but his begum...but cvs are hell bent her showing making sacrifices for JR and thus in the process turning Ruku negative...
Hoe predictable!
Nice post...

Ela, I know exactly what you mean! haven't we all been saying the same thing for so many weeks now!
But see one thing I noticed yesterday ... even the Ruq-LJalal scenes are totally flat on "chemistry". there was a hug and some forehead touching and all those sweet words about being the "Mallika" but it sounded like an elder brother placating a tantrum-throwing young sister, and not as husband and wife. So there is definitely room in Jalal's life for a real love from a woman who is his equal on wavelength and feelings depth!
Now coming too the Jodha -Jalal equation, yes, the scene yesterday was nice that they could converse with such ease and so openly and so fully. But as you say there was no palpable chemistry there either.
I am personally now hoping that this "love-letter" track at least will bring the topic of "love" openly into their framework. If he mistakes her letter for love then he is at least making a beginning in getting a little "aware" of her and will probably entertain us with his 'advances".
And even if she demurs, at least she cannot pretend any more that she is not "aware" of him ... if a man starts showing some "advances" towards us, we will tend to suspect that he is "advancing" even if he is not, so some "awareness of him and some anticipation of his advances" will now start always happening for Jodha!
Additionally this Ruq I feel will now bbecoome angry wiith JJodha after maham's chaabi, and this may make Jodha demur when Jalal makes his advances, but I think Ruq will act as a reverse Cupid actually, because some men get more heated up if the lady spurns his advances, and I hope Jalal is one of them!
The topic of this love letter will be like a Pandora's box. Once the topic of "love" is opened, at least both will be trying to second-guess whether the other is behaving in a particular way because of "lovey feelings"? That much we will get for some time if not full-blown chemistry.
So yes, this must be the slowest love story we have ever seen, but at least now we are having some tiny beginning with this love-letter track. Let's give it a chance to see if the Creatives are now taking us towards a deeper love-track!

b. The scene with Jodha:

What a beautiful scene again. Jalal did not embrace Jodha physically the way he held Ruq close to himself. But his words wrapped themselves around her soul! Especially the part where he showed such remorse for thieir marriage which had been nothing short of coercion. Jodha too showed her readiness to forgive that by saying "Let the law not try to reshape what's gone. Let the past be past and please look forwards." That moment to me was in no way less than the physicality I saw in the Ruq scene. In fact I felt as if souls had hugged silently!

It also made an impact on me that Jalal had not been able to talk so much to Ruqaiaya today, as he talked with Jodha. In his relationship with Ruq he was the older one, cajoling, soothing, protecting her, the younger one. In his relationship with Jodha they were easy as equals, respecting each others views. In the earlier scene Ruqaiaya was doing most of the talking. But here Jalal was feeling so utterly comfortable talking about every little detail in his mind to Jodha , explaining, reasoning, expressing feelings and exposing his bitterness as well as his zeal. And he was most of the time looking directly into her eyes as talked and listened. I have never seen Jalal so eager to talk and at such length, and I have never seen Jodha so eager to listen without needing too fill the silence with her own voice. It was sensationally lovely!

Okay, in all this dialogue today I thought Maham had left one small loophole: she had dismissed the out-of-town Javeeda totally to Resham as an idiot with no brains who didn't count for much, as Adham could marry many times. I am not so sure she should have done that, because what if Jalal has some plans up his sleeve now that include Javeeda in some way? I am keeping my options open on this Javeeda. (I always thought she was a smart cookie masquerading as an idiot and playing clever games of her own!)

May be Javeda is going to bring a solution. Here, Adham's so called reason of marrying that girl is to become a father himself. If Javeda fulfils this , then his stated reason becomes invalid.๐Ÿ˜‰

Mansi very detailed!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Loved Jalal's scene with all the three ladies!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Its evident in the episode that Jalal have something on his sleeves. So hoping for the best!

Ruqaiya I expected her not to fall for Maham's brainwash as she's been doing but yesterday it seems Maham got her. Don't know what she's going to tell Jodha.๐Ÿ˜•

Was glad to hear something about Javeeda. Maham is thinking Javeeda is a fool and good for nothing but am thinking she's in for a surprise because there might be another face behind this dumb one we know.๐Ÿ˜†

What interest me more than the episode is the Love Letter Track!๐Ÿคฃ How he assume its love letter? Or didn't Atgar read it for him? But just saw a spoiler that Jodha rejects him.๐Ÿฅบ

This Javeeda looks too dumb to believe ... that's why I feel it must be a faade because no one is really that dumb! Let's see what she has to say about Adham trying to marry Tasneem. Especially after Jalal quashes Adham's marriage plans, then when have to see Javeeda in action with Maham and Adham! Maybe these mother-son duo are in for some jhatkas!

Abie, all of us in our "gang" are waiting for this love letter!๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Waiise, think of this, even if she rejects him her mind will forever now be wondering is he "making advances" so this love bug will occupy her mind even if she demurs!
Secondly, he will chase her now that he senses some leeway? Should be interesting to watch what "advances" he makes and after she spurns him how aggressive he then tries to become. believe me, lots of men get turned on by "spurns", and I hope he is one of them!๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ

A beautiful analysis of a beautiful episode Mansi...๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘...I find myself very lucky to be a part of this forum where such great writers do such insightful analysis of the episodes everyday..๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ..the highlight of ur post is the interpretation of Jodha-Jalal scene...so beautifully written...even I couldn't feel the deepness of this scene before reading ur post...the lines in bold above touched me.

Many people in the forum have been complaining that the passion which we used to see in Jalal is missing now...well comparing the old Jalal with new is not fair...their relation changed a lot...he was passionate in his hatred for Jodha & he'll be passionate again when he will fall for her...as of now he doesn't hate her nor he loves her so passion is missing...but I m really liking the new bonding between them...if he had continued his push, pull & hand holding would she have been so comfortable with him as she is now? Lets begin their love story...once they become aware of each-other in that sense, as u said, we'll see that passion again.

I don't know how to react to the new spoiler...CVs have really thought something very different & interesting which we could have never thought yet I m not able to understand how can he suddenly fall for Jodha just to see her letter? The spoiler is also saying the rejection will happen...how can it happen so soon?...I hope they will handle this track slowly...most of the members here have the opinion that Jodha will reject him due to Ruq...even I have always had this point in my mind...I know Jodha will hide her feelings not to come between Jalal & Ruq...but how can they show this so early...let her develop the feelings first...I think the reason of his rejection will not be Ruq...it may be bcoz she's not aware with her own feelings & emotions...I feel the track is being introduced for Jodha to fall for Jalal...we have seen Jalal feeling something for Jodha many times...now its Jodha's turn...may be after rejecting him & Jalal keeping distance from her she can actually realize that she has feelings for him.
