I feel he was trying to figure out Jodha's place in his life by recalling how he met her, got attracted to her .. 😳 😳 😳...The guy is in love ❤️❤️..But just wont admit it...He thinks it is friendship cos he doent know what it feels like to be in love...😊😊😊

Lashy I may be a bit too late in posting this but I just rewatched that scene many times (it's now one of my favorites, with the female background tune merging with the male version, so beautiful!)

It seems to me that Jalal is remembering all the factors that brought him and Jodha together. The moment he first saw her was the initial attraction, the payal that enhanced his obsession, how he was reflected in the water as her destiny and how she raised the sword to his neck, which led him to marry her for revenge.

All of these incidents brought Jodha into Jalal's life. He really values the gift she gave, the blessings of his people and it appears that he had never felt that before. I think he was in awe and remembering how this amazing woman came into his life, only to change it and show him what he hasn't seen before and awaken emotions he hasn't felt before.

It was a beautiful episode.

I will now go back to watching that scene until I fall asleep 😳

Yes he tells Jodha that.

"Bahut Hoshiyaar hain Aap Jodha begum. Par itni nahin, ki Aap jaan sake ki is dimaag (tapping his head) mein kya chalta hain."

I think he was confronting his own feelings for jodha ...initially he was confident that he want to make jodha lose (in all aspects) and win over her. But now the whole scenario has changed , there is faith and concern in their relationship. Jallal must be now thinking whether he should drop this whole idea of war and accept the fact that he does love jodha and wants her desperately ...

a lovely song comes to my mind after reading ur post

I think he dropped the idea of war long ago though🤔..its accepting the geniality of their relationship that he's going through now...

sometimes mind trip down to memory land & heart search answers of some questions jalal was refelecting those incidents to his mind not out of love or hate but because they are memories of a relationship which is still unknown
started with hate truned in revenge
but now
he value jodha & both look each other with respect & trust
its begining of a friendship but there is a feeling growing in him which he yet not realize which is occuping his heart
there destination is love but the journey is still so long
just hope cvs not hurry 😆
