I will not say much but the episode today belongs to Rajat. What acting, what performance, what capacity, what expressions, what emotions, what modulations of voice, what delivery of dialogues!! 👏 Simply amazing!
I was spellbound to see him today and believe me I am not his fan. I always watch a show for the characters of the show, not for the actors but today he blew me away.
The scene with Jodha where he was trying to look away not showing his weakness and affection for Bakshi and trying to hide his tears and his effort in not succumbing to that was brilliant! His feelings from his heart touched mine.
And the speech to his subjects was splendid! He said it again from the core of his heart, he meant every word of it and the pain he had he hid it with his own valor and magnanimity. He kept the void to himself and made every one his own. It was worth producing all the tears from every one including Jodha.
CV's who ever wrote the dialogues needs a special mention today, it was captivating, mesmerizing and extraordinary. Yesterday and today both episodes need a special mention.
I don't know about others but yesterday when he told Jodha 'I didn't do it because I love you' I loved and applauded him. First of all he doesn't believe in love and anything to do with heart, secondly I can't expect him to fall in love suddenly when he himself didn't believe in love, physical attraction is something else, appreciating some one with their talents is again something different but being in love is another story altogether. So that should blossom slowly and gently and not be rushed. It was apt for him to clear his intentions there. He did every thing for justice, to give justice to Jodha, to give unbiased judgement to Bakshi. That was really applaudable! And even if he mentioned any thing about love from his end Jodha wouldn't have taken it very sportingly, somewhere she would have felt a little uncomfortable. At this moment she feels grateful to him and gratitude can't be equated to love. From Jodha's point of view she realized Jalal is man of honor, he took all the blow himself only to save her honor and character, he trusted her irrespective of not trusting his own shadow...she realized this and grew immense respect for him but that is not same as being in love. So her understanding about his emotions was really praise worthy and I am happy she didn't expect love from him or she herself even felt anything similar to this emotion.
So kudos to the dialogue writer once again keeping these parameters in mind.
Only one complaint CV's, for the weekend you could have given a precap of Jalal and Jodha instead of Ruqaiya and Jodha. We know it is a triangle love story you are now focusing on and we know where Jalal, Jodha and Ruqaiya stand in this triangle but for us viewers nothing matters more that Jalal and Jodha. 2 days we would have happily spent speculating on what can or will happen or under what circumstances that scene took place, who said and why...all those won't be done now. I kind of guess Ruqaiya's answers and most probably she will either vouch for her love for Jalal including her supremacy over his brain or she might totally throw Jodha aside asking her to mind her own business and not ask any thing to her about her feelings for Jalal.
Anyway CV's splendid episodes last 2 days.
