1) BB-Jodha

I was relieved that Jodha didn't instantly forgive BB - which more or less, I'd expected. I was glad to see Jodha react irately to BB's pleas!

Following that, Jodha falling down nearly lifeless on her couch with tears in her eyes was a beautiful scene. For starters, it was a different set of expressions to any we've seen so far.

'Nirapradh Shehenshah' - those words sounded very fitting coming from her - and that too for the first time!😊

I am glad she recalled all the harsh words she'd spewed against him in remorse!

2) RUQAIYYA

How many times are we going to watch Ruqaiyya bathing and throwing away the water jug in anger😆? As an Empress, I'm sure she'd have done many things other than scrubbing her skin *slaps forehead*

It DID make sense that as Mallika-e-khaas, she was angered by the plottings in the harem against HER Shehenshah. However, he follow-up rant on 'Hamaari Jalal' revealed the OTHER facet of hers once again.😆

So, now both Jodha and Ruqaiyya have suddenly realized their follies and want to apologize to Jalal.
Pehle Ghrina-ghrina-nafrat-nafrat from all sides will now turn to something else. Jalal's harem is going to drive him insane soon -I tell ya!

3) MA-JALAL

'Just like how I come to you whenever I'm upset, I used to call BB to my chamber when she used to be downcast. I used to comfort her' Jalal breaks down softly in MA's chamber😭

He made a very very signifcant statement today about the sorry state of his family - First his brother in law Abu Maali, then Shareefuddin and now BB - all seemed to be plotting against him. I hope the CVs tackle these inter-family politics that Akbar faced in this serial well-enough! It has all the ingredients for a ready-made TRP drama as was!😊

'Why are my own ones out to get me?' he weeps ['Well...that's the ugly side-effects of power-play'I felt like telling him while patting him on his head😭]
'An Emperor doesn't have friends' MA replies sadly

'Then why do such enemies come with a mask - in the form of relations...of family?' he questions 'I can slay my enemies...how can I slay my own sister...she calls me Bhai-JAAN...how can I take away her own life? Whoever wins this battle, I'm the one who's lost the war!'
How beautiful this scene was. The best scene of the episode, I must say!😳

4) SALIMA-JODHA

Salima looked beautiful without all of those adornments on her. Watching Jodha appear so genial (after many days of down-heartedness) was a welcome relief too! Jodha also acknowledged her mistake in recognizing her husband's nature in front of Salima. 😊

Following this, I am glad Salima explained to Jodha about the delicate relationship between husband and wife 'Just act...don't while time thinking about it' the older queen explained

5) JODHA-JALAL

This was a touching scene indeed - especially since both understood each other without saying much. However, the highlight of the scene had to be Jodha's question 'I don't understand you - who ARE you Shehenshah?'

'I'm that man whose humanity was destroyed when he was 14 at the battlefield... I am heartless and trust none! Yet, I don't know why - but I've started trusting a woman...I've started trusting her innocence...her purity!'
[This had to be the best line in the scene! In a way -its a summary of the essence of the show so long!😃]
Not surprisingly, Jodha was just as touched as I was. Maybe this is what she'd wanted to hear so long. Maybe if not a soul-mate - she at least finds a friend in him now 'I thought you were trying to spoil my reputation, when you were trying to protect it all along' she confesses happily

The scene should have been a momentous one - but it wasn't entirely so. It was only formal and nothing more. I am guessing it was because Jalal was hounded with the depressing news of his sister, while Jodha could sense his unhappiness too!

Anyway, it was all going well enough for me till Jalal ended it all with a 'I don't love you...so, don't be under that misconception'
And, Jodha seemed just as pleased to hear it!😕
It almost felt like they both were relieved NOT to be in love. 😆

[This couple have to receive the award for holding the most puzzling relationship in tellyworld. They could have left it all with cordial apologies - but, NO - they HAD to bring in the 'I DON'T LOVE YOU'
The last bit felt like a deliberate insertion from the writers - a ploy to ensure that we as viewers are left just as confused about the couple's Are they or Aren't they?
Just when I thought we'd heard the end of I did it, I didn't do it!😆]

6) BB-JODHA

Though BB was wrong in her stance, I can understand that scene was brought in truly to highlight the difference between the various kinds of love. For whatever reason, BB is truly madly deeply in love with Shareef, while Ruqaiyya is possessively in love with Jalal.
There isn't a couple that is selflessly and yet rightfully supportive in love yet - I am guessing that will be our Akdha!😊

'What kind of a love is this that you fail to even recognize the differences between good and bad?'Jodha asks BB
'Love is limitless' BB claims 'When you are in absolute fear of losing the one you love, you'd realize what all this means...you and Bhai-Jaan don't know about THAT kind of love, so you wouldn't understand my views'
Though she seemed like a 'fool-in-love' while stating those dialogues, it was possibly a scene for Jodha to understand that 'limitlessness' and 'dependence' are also different facets of love [Though obviously must be balanced by judgement to keep the balances intact!]
Overall, a good episode!😊

BB is the only one in the serial who's passionately in love- the kind of love I want to watch between jalal and jodha🤣

I think its easy for jodha to forgive bakshi.. but for jalal.. he loves his sister to death.. its a betrayal.. its harder to forgive someone you love and trust so much

Nice post!!😊

@bold, During that scene, I felt Jodha just gave a sheepish smile just because there is no other expression for it. Like when we get praised by our teachers, they make sure it doesn't go into our head so they even criticize us or say things in a stern manner. And we react to it with a small smile or just a plain face. Jodha wasn't expecting that line from Jalal. She simply didn't know how to react. I particularly found that quite funny. It was like Jalal the professor and Jodha the student.
I know that here he spoke of "mohabbat" while with teachers, we discuss the subject matter. Two different things, bad analogy, I know that.

P..S: Since I don't know which part of the world you live in, you might not get this teacher-student relationship. But in my school, thats how things run. You never get appreciated in the face.

This is my rant. Kahan ka connection laga diya humne.😆😆😆 From Jalal and Jodha to teacher and student.

Love ur take on the epi, Lashy. But it s kind of left me with some dissatisfaction & a little confusion too, especially the apology scene btwn JaJo. So am not giving any comments on it. Will come back & write my few cents worth if at all I manage to make sense of what I felt today.

No no I felt the same way too...it could have been better..but, it wasn't entirely bad!
Esp after watching the BB-Jalal confrontation and Ja-Jo one yesterday...today was a bit 'ok' types...
but, I'm sure many would be very pleased...so I didn't want to post it in too negative-a-light so I don't take away from their enjoyment...😃
