Jalal's begums

Jalal has three main wives. Ruqyiya , salima and jodha. I like each of them for their own special qualities.. Ruquiya is his childhood friend, full of herself but at the same time loves jalal and can find her happiness in his happiness. She showed the strength of her personality by being so graceful in last couple of episodes. She never wants to share jalal and stil understand other women's needs and emotions when it comes to a child. Then comes Salima begum !! She is one lady u can respect and adore. She holds a very high and respectable position in jalal's life. She is humble and very understanding. There comes JOdha. She is loving yet holds her head high with lot of dignity. She is yet to fall in love with jalal. but She wil be the queen of his heart. Interestingly i do want to see all of them with jalal. Ofcourse we love Jodha but she cant replace Ruqiya or salima in his life. One is friends and will not want to live life without Jalal- Ruquiya !! Another is salima who understand his pain and espec him alot-- then jodha who will love jalal !! I Now i can sit back and enjy jodha akbar. A man with three beautiful ladies and i love them all-

Its Jodha and Jalal who will be the real romantic, hubby-wifey relationship. The fact also is that, romance blooms at the right age for both. Akbar was hardly 21 or so when he married Jodha who was in her mid teens. Thats why you see an immaturity like college kids initially which develops into a strong bond later.

Akbar had requested son Jehangir to give his first born Khurram (Shahjehan) to Ruqqaiyya to be brought up by her individually. Akbar did this coz, he knew how Ruqqaiyya craved for a child and did this so she could get over her childless state.

Prince Khurram was Shahjehan - his mom was one of Jehangir's wife Taj Bibi or Manmathi..something like that. I think she was also of Rajput descent.
