But the truth is when I was 20, I was talking to a friend who had a girlfriend. They had been together for years! She was even his religion and everything, so there should not have been any problem if they wanted to get married. So I asked this friend if he was planning on getting married to his GF.

He said nope, I'm just gonna marry whoever my mom picks!

All the guys in my school have been this way! They have their GFs, and will have fun with them, but they'll end up happily marrying whoever their mothers pick. They don't even fight to marry their GFs.

I know I can't think this about all guys, but that's what I've seen happening where I live. It may just be the culture here.

And it makes me stay away from such guys, especially the ones in their early 20s. I feel like they're very unstable and will just end up breaking my heart.
