I didnt like today s epi much, Lashy. Though the drama, intrigue elements were all there & there was a logical progression too, still once Jalal confronted Jodha & accused her of infidelity I sort of mentally ya emotionally started tuning out. I couldnt blame either of them for their arguments or stand, in fact , both were too right, that was the problem. I know I was one of the few who was trying to keep a neutral view about this track & tried to welcome it, if at the end it brought greater trust in JA relationship, but once I saw MA eavesdropping on their convo & then further plotting to spread rumours about it too, I somehow felt this track will be stretched too much with lots of emotional rona dona & the lot. How on earth does the TRP giving audience like this stuff stumps me 😭 .

Add to this, seeing Bakshi s the one who s spiking Jodha s milk, aghhh, what the heck 🤢 . And then the precap where Hamida shows her displeasure too, oh God, too much . Hope its some dream scene or if it happens , hope Jalal ya Ruqs stand with Jodha. After all, there must be some purpose of showing Ruq being privy to yday s JA faceoff which I so disliked. If not Ruqs, then Jalal should get ready to use his famed thinking gear. He understands his chudail begum very well na, so today when Jodha was intensely & rightfully defending her virtue to him, I hope his grey matter woke up & leads him to thinking in the right way. I cant see this tearyeyed abla naari track nor nafrat baara angry Jallu for too long ( tho he s too hot like that I admit 😉 ).

Gosh, didnt want to invest so much emotionally into a show again, but JA lured me into it, especially Jallu 😛

True... The confrontation was spectacular and again Rajat-Paridhi did full justice. Each one's view point, their agony ...very well potrayed... Even the prayer bit was very well done.

The kitchen scene...I hope its not BB... There only a certain extent she can dance to Cheapuddin's tunes... Lets see...But gosh loved Salima!

Precap - I so didn't want the whole Harem to gossip about this...and the drama to build up...

Maybe for a change, I will see the episode when it actually airs here...

I didn't dislike it either...was neutral mainly with few highs and lows...hv commented in Shyamala Aunty's post...copying parts here...😃
"...loved the Jashn dance... could feel the oddity when Ja-Jo were getting blessed for their yet non-existant child...Both RT and PS were marvelous in their parts...!! While I do understand that this track was probably to instill the true faith in Ja-Jo, but guess it could have been done with a less absurd and gross track....!!😕
It's painful to see a character like Jalal being so gullible and NOT verifying the Preg news with Second opinion and jumping to the worst conclusion.."

Abt the mystery Woman(??)...very little chance of it to be a woman...
Reasons are:
1.Bakshi Bano is Light-eyed ..which this person was NOT.
2.The hand is far too masculine and fleshy to be of Bakshi Bano's...the kada and rings too are indelicate to be Bakshi's.
3.In the celebration and court proceedings, Bakshi looked Genuinely Happy and worried for her bro's anger resp.
4.The Burqa -wali is wellbuilt , not like Bakshi...

May be a Transgender Khwaja or a Man...

I simply am in splits over ur "Push -Pull Theory"...🤣
Waise both looked good(or Evil) Enough to hit each other...!!😆

The first scene of ibadat- for ja and jo, at this point, nothing could have been worse than saying hollow prayers...to thank god for blessing their relationship...to thank god for elevating them to the status of parents...as you pointed out correctly...it was FORCED...jalal was mechanical...only his eyes giving away his emotion...jodha was at the verge of a break down...her voiced hitched at word 'prem'

It didn't have an iota of hatred...it was pure passion, seething anger, bitter acussation and extreme pain...you know, the moment when jalal actually accused her of adultery...and...her expression changed to that of shock and disbelief...followed by her dialogues...it hits you with the gravity of charges and what it can do to a woman and her self respect(not that we underestimated it before but hearing it had a different impact)...she was countered by an equally charged jalal...telling her straight...he has kept his word and his god knows this...he will figure out who the culprit is...says a man who's respect, honour and faith has been hurt by his wife...must say...the man had to rein himself not to shake the truth out of her...

Cvs...that's what we say...give them these passionate scenes...they nail it...they have done it in the past...they have done it today as well...

Jodha and moti Bai scene- (Well done...she sounded fed up...the news of pregnancy had not seeped in...and...she is now acussed of adultery...her dialogues made perfect scenes...the frustration, the pain, her emotions were relatable(thank you!for giving her good and sensible dialogues)...Yeah!!!she threw away the platter...humein iss phal se bhi nafrat hai...😆she sounded so 'lost'...

Maham- the only woman who reads jalal...who can see a storm building in those deep eyes...who can not only put two and two together...but can multiply it, divide it and make it a polynomial...

Jodha should start doing kasrat like Jalal to give outlet to all that swirling energy. 😆

And that mystery woman isn't a mystery at all!! It's Bakshi! Even if it is Ashareef making her do all this, Jalal should burn her down along with that evil husband of her's.

Unless Annie's theory is right, then I am back to calling Bakshi a lovable cow.

n yes thy both r right at thr places n justified thr angers m a jalal fan die hard one n every1 knows that but m saying this that neither jalal nor jodha are at fault in this seq both stuck in it n reacting as per thr nature, if jalal dnt trust her neither jodha try to talk to him calmly n try to solve this, she also doubted that he did it to her without permission, so both are at fault this tym... TRUST ISSUES thy have hope after this track aisa koi aur track na aye phir se.

As I agree with most of this, and as it is already very late for me, I will confine myself to

- telling you how compact and articulate this analysis is, with nice quirky bits like noticing that Jalal conducted his inquistion of Jodha from one fixed spot, and that he did not indulge in any rough housing. The latter was a given, he is no wife beater. Sometimes I think it would have done Jodha some good if he had been one, even if only in mild doses. And

- correcting the part in blue. She says that to Jalal, not to Moti. Plus, she adds that she never liked his touching her. That was NOT in the past tense, so your hopeful little deduction does not seem to hold, alas.😉

I hate having to endure one more bout of MCs between Jalal and Jodha
I hate having to watch Jodha cry over and over again about ghrina-ing Shehenshah (Gals don't mistake me - this is NOT Jodha's fault - ANYONE in her place'd do so (even me)...it's just that as a viewer I'd prefer not watching too many rona dhona scenes by anyone - even Madhuri Dixit! And looking at it this way - Even, the original movie (from which this serial is supposed to be based) does have a track where Jalal suspects Jodha of having some sort of a relationship with Sujamal. Now, while things didn't go so far as a false pregnancy, Jodha being suspected of having relations with her brother is still pretty bad too. So I guess, we'll just have to grit and bear that Ekta decided to take it a step further with the pregnancy bit for the sake of episodes and TRPs!

What I did like today

Jalal and Jodha keeping a somewhat brave face in front of a crowd. After a point, it was looking too forced - but, then that was what it was - FORCED! Jalal and Jodha were being compelled to overcome their grief and put on a smile for the sake of (temporary) diplomacy!

I know the entire forum is against her -but, come on - how can you NOT appreciate a witty villain? Do Shareef and Adham seem like worthy opponents of Jalal or does MA? 😆 I know my answer!
Yes, she's always busy eavesdropping - but then, its been documented that the Harem was always rife with spies. Here MA is our resident spy cum Wazeer-e-aliya😆!
Plus, she seems to be the ONLY one interested in finding out all details of the pregnancy - i.e. if Jodha is pregnant at all - when she became - how she became etc!😳
Not even Jalal and Jodha are at this juncture yet!

When Jalal questioned Jodha, he appeared quite the role (as he always does). I found all of his questions and all of her replies spot-on. Nothing extra, nothing too dramatic.
He didn't blow off his lid like he used to, but he grit his teeth so hard, I'm sure he must have felt the impact on his incisors later on! RT invested all his emotional might that he could into that scene while standing on the one spot he had been given! 👏

Obviously, many wanted 'physical' investment in the fiery face-off - but, girls thank God he didn't start pushing and pulling her. She is 'supposedly' pregnant. His restrained interrogation only reflected positively upon his character. I'd definitely like him to make-up for the loss by pushing and pulling her when romance starts 😆

I also loved Paridhi's acting here - one could see the horror in her eyes - the torment caused by the accusations were evident!
I LOVED her wailing to Mothi afterwards (no...no...not because she was wailing😆) but because, she raised the very points that I have been raising all through.😊 I liked all of her feisty points today!

'I am a Rajvanshi' she stated with pride!
'I'd rather die than listen to all these accusations - chee' (Yes Vicky, she was adorable when she said chee!😛)
'We're taught to Jauhar if our men die in wars so that our body always remains devoted to only one man! ' 👏
'Another man cannot even touch my shadow forget touching me' 👏 (Almost like Sita Mata, eh?)

If you noticed- she even stated to Mothi that 'Their relationship STARTED off as hatred, but she'd never think of having relations with another man when she has a husband now' [i.e. she used to say her relationship with Jalal IS that of hatred, but the last two instances the hatred bit has now been pushed to past tense!]
She sounded like a typical girl fed-up of being distrusted by her in-laws when she stated that she hated everything to do with Agra.
For some reason, I loved her pushing that plate of fruits away in anger too. When HE can throw goblets and break tables, SHE can break vases and throw fruits too...Bhagwaan ne chun chun ke hi jodi banaayaa hai!😆

MYSTERY
The veiled woman and Salima scene really piqued my interest today. It may not turn out to be as scintillating as an Agatha Christie who-dunnit since the culprits can only be 1-2 people, but then - we're still guessing, aren't we?
Now it all makes sense about Jodha's symptoms and her not getting the monthly cycles etc. If whatever miracle medicine mixed in her milk was administered everyday, it could possibly induce indigestion-like symptoms and keep her cycles away too - precisely what many of the birth control pills do even today😕
Very elaborate plan - but, who thought of it and why? I'd not place too much hopes of anything logical coming out of it - but all I can say is today's episode intrigued me!

SALIMA
I genuinely liked Salima's protective stance today. While Ruqaiyya on one hand wants NO ill to befall Jalal's child, Salima on the other hand wants to ensure Jodha and child are not harmed. When everything becomes well, in future (distant waala one) a pregnant Jodha is definitely going to be pampered by her fellow-queens! (and the Shehenshah too😛)

For ONCE I'm relieved to see HB thinking from her son's point of view - at least for a change of scene girls! Her blind adoration and faith in Jodha was getting a bit too much. Even during Mohan episode, she was more worried about Jodha than Jalal (Please!) This should balance the equation a bit now!
I dont' know if Jodha is going to go back to Amer but if she does, they're following the movie track then.

FUTURE - MY TAKE!
I do hope its Jalal who finds out the truth though - so that its not a repeat of the MC track!
Overall, I like the treatment this otherwise abysmal mud-slinging match is getting. Even though the basis is debasing, the manner of execution is better than that of the MC kaand - at least so far!
