I JUST FOUND OUT HOW REALLY ADHAM KHAN DIED AND ABOUT HOW MAHAM ANGA 's relationship with jalal's got fractured...this is from ain-i-akbhari..

The murder of two girls in malwa fractured the relationship between the milk-mother and jalal.5 months later,jalal removed Munim KHAN,a confidante of MA and appointed Atga KHAN to that post of Vazir.this curtailed her powers..Adham KHAN was upset after being recalled from Malwa considered atga khan the villain..while jalal was resting in the harem,adham KHAN strode towards the office where he was working and stabbed him with a dagger,and his men started stabbing atga khan too..Atga tried to escape but fell dead in the courtyard and adham khan tried to enter the harem..but an eunuch bolted the harem entry.meanwhile akbhar awoke due to commotion and rushed out to see his murdered foster father.

As he turned and saw adham khan with a bloodied dagger..he called adham khan,"batcha-I--lada" meaning son of a bitch..he slapped adham khan who was mumbling an answer to be bound and thrown down the harem terrace of eight feet..so he was thrown down and hauled and again thrown till his brain was destroyed and neck broken

Akbar' s marriage to the princess of Amer was significant..he allowed the princess to remain a Hindu,maintain a Hindu shrine in the royal palace and he himself participated in the Puja she performed..

LAST BUT THE LEAST-about MA's role in miscarriages in the harem

.Abu FAZL does not directly say it is MAHAM ANGA who was responsible for miscarriages in the harem but states that" His majesty who gave the lady a mother's status was really broken about her role in him remaining childless..

I know some of us here can give a good account of the history as it was then and how it is very well portrayed in the show..I am waiting for some confirmation on the information I have on the harem life from the curator of national museum in Delhi..he is our good friend..once I get it confirmed then I can give shocking details I have picked up..I don't want to provide unconfirmed details..

Wonderfull abhay!!!! 😊 Hats off to your efforts and research 👏👏 I wanted to know if MUZ/Heera kunwari was ever engaged to someone before her marriage to Akbar ? In serial they have shown him as raja suryabhan od bhanpur and in movie he is raja ratan singh of ajabgadh but i have read somewhere that bhangadh/ajabgadh was a city/fort built by raja bhagwan das and Heera was already married to Akbar when he built the fort for his son Madho singh...So I consider it as a fiction of her being engaged to someone else...Is that true?

I read it in a book by satish Chandra.he mentioned that harkhabai was the younger daughter and his elder daughter given in marriage to haji khan pathan who had been virtual rular of alwar after the death of islamshah suri😊

as far as i know..

i have gone thru 2 books of same author..
and yes he says harka to be younger daughter of bharmal..
but except that , till date i/all have read only that she was eldest..
and yes that's a accepted fact..
their is some error..there..
though he is a reputed author..

i will try to get to depth of this..
bt accepted norm(reality) is, harka to be eldest.

Yes, I read it in your previous post abt the war...even taking the arrow bit was real...wow!!!...it was in tandem with what happened in history...no wonder, Akbar had tremendous faith in Bhagwant man...😊...I had no idea about this 'duplicate' angle...so...again..it was true...the book mentioned in the show did exist...I also read in your previous post that Akbar did give away his fort...it's amazing how things we had dismissed saying creative liberty are real...many times thought process get skewed by the prejudices one carries..."oh a king will not do that"..I am no exception...I too thought 'oh! King will not give up his fort for the sake of a marriage' .but...surprise surprise...the king actually did that...

'Misdeds in harem' has piqued my curiosity...so..maham did make life difficuilt for harem women...so...was she antagonistic to jodha as shown in the series?

Yaah, u r right...👍🏼 jodha was raja bharmal's elder daughter...even in a show they showed her as a elder daughter..
