This serial's not stepped back from discussing about all aspects of a physical relationship between husband and wife, and YET we're not an inch closer to proper romance between the leads...we've had body heat discussions, miscarriages, ooh aah ouch everything - but nothing fits in MY kind of passionate romance...

My kind of romance is the one that I saw during the Shaahi Farmaan, Arthi scene and sword scene..he spoke just using his mischief-filled eyes..and she didn't look away or flinch either... instead, she took in all of his complimentary gazes by just returning them with firm stares...

Even the touch they had during the Arthi scene... or the way he removed her veil during the sword fight...or the way he whispered into her ears during the Shaahi farmaan scene - it was all You could see their chemistry there...Jalal was silently teasing her with just his expressions/smiles without saying a word and she was trying hard not to buckle in to the pressure of his masculine charm! That is chemistry!

Scenes after that have either been comical (ooh aah) or cordial (payal, lunch date, story-telling) but NOT PASSIONATE!😭

Where is the dhak-dhak (so what if its filmy all people-in-love express heightened heart rate in the presence of the loved one😆) where is the inching closeness...where is the I stare - you stare more...where are the 'lost' expressions...where is the shudder when he touches her? These are all natural human reactions in response to the early stages of attraction...different people express it differently, but its there.

Jodha's barely blushed once and smiled twice in his presence so far!

I'd hate for the makers to have taken so long to show any warming up from Jo's end only to rush through the 'sizzling' bits and culminate into a fast-forwarded SR...😡

even I was hoping for their sizzling chemistry after the way he teased her about his gift and his smile when he was leaving her with parting words of will meet her during the party. Even during the party, the way they exchanged the tanks and acceptance was so good. God the way she asked for his permission to drink the sherbat was miles ahead (just with eyes) and his approval with just noding his chin bit which would have gone unnotivced by many but not the hawk eyes of Ruqaiya, was marvellous.

I am hoping for th comforting gesture from him will be more passionate ( I am not sure if we are blessed with a hug). It might just be a finger which wipes her tears or at the most he may pat her shoulder and ask Moti to sonsole her, but within those few gestures, he will prove his intmacy

@Lashy, Jaya, Jyoti and all:

In one of my very early posts after one episode I wrote that I want to see more sexual tension in the Jalal-Jodha scenes otherwise it looks very flat on a TV screen to see love without intensity.

Someone wrote back to me that I cannot hope to get all this on 8 pm family time show!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Arre, I was not asking for a blue film, na? Just saying that there should more "intense physical awareness" between the couple like what Jyoti, Lashy, Jaya and I have all been writing here!
