I am glad to see a progress in the story
Jodha and jalal bonding I really a treat to watch
I don't know how much longer I can stand MA antics - Ruqs bitching and ad ham Khan backbiting

That is a very interesting take on Jalal's expression - I think, now that I reconsider the matter, that thoughtful would be an apt word to describe it.

I was however surprised that Jodha did not think of the Sri Krishna Tulabhaaram parallel at once.

As for Jalal's gift, I expect he will give her a beautifully illustrated Persian manuscript. They call those exquisitely illustrated books with their calligraphic writing illuminated manuscripts.

The symbolism of .Sri Krishna Tulabhaaram... was noticed instantly by all the elders in the house watching since they seem to enjoy Mahabharta ...which is on before this show on another channel 😉... and surprisingly laughed off at being paralleled with this Jalal ! 😆 😆

Anyways, Jalal's expressions were either way off or he is playing another game...so will leave that to future unpleasant happenings.

As for him pacifying a terrible Ruqaiyya...oops terrible child playmate Ruqaiyya 😉 the best remedy sometimes , as has been suggested for Jodha before, would be a tight slap with his royal slippers on her behind and while he is at it also wash her filthy mouth with bleach and soap !

Hello aunty..great analysis! I liked the Jalal-Rukaiya scene and loved the way you have explained it...even I would hate to see Jalal lessen Rukaiya's importance for Jodha..

Im a Krishna bhakt(I don't do poojas like Jo though)he is for me the most handsome,sweet and adorable God and I love his leelas and stories a lot..Even I was surprised Jo didn't think of that symbolism seeing that it's one of his known stories! Lovely Nazm aunty!!!😊

The promo for the week looks bad...lets see how it goes!😃

shyamala, beautiful analysis! sorry for not responding to previous posts, had been very busy, coming to india on the 16th, my nephews were teasing me if i am going to india to see akbar's tomb😆 as they know how obsessed i am with his character!

now coming to the post..the balancing act was quite significant and i did not mind jalal's stern face, he is a shaheshah, he cannot be smiling like an idiot all the time! he is different when he is with jodha alone this was more of a formal gathering, and i loved his scene with ruq and his idea of compartmentalizing his love for his begums...i can well imagine how close the real akbar must have been to this one in terms of being fare to his wedded begums, especially ruquyya!

jalal is my favorite character in the show, i would like to see him more in action than in and out of harem..i really wish that the production team puts in some more money and gives us some realistic war scenes and not just pure romance, would love to see a balanced episode and that will make it different and watchable as compared to other serials...also they should take historical facts when it comes to political scenarios..take care😊

thank you so much Shyamala for such a wonderful and different read...i am not familiar with the story hence had no idea about the symbolism...it is such a beautiful connection indeed

i would have loved to elaborate on my take ,but not keeping well hence it is difficult typing at all...yet could not but stop without a thanks

another thing as i mentioned in manse's post in response to your comment ..that the ruqaiyya you described and the relationship was so evident in the first month of the show...smiley's ruqaiyya was his gatti...they should really work on improving her character ...
