Thanks for answering all my questions in an indirect manner. I know exactly what happened on that night in their tent and also I am happy to see the complete conversation between Ruqaiya and Jalal.

Ruqaiya is completely in denial. Everything is staring right at her face and yet she prefers to look away and dwell in her own lala Mallika-e-khaas land. Lage raho Ruqaiya begum, Jodha and Jalal along with us viewers will be the one benefiting from your attitude.

Jalal clearly told her that she ought to look out, she out to be jealous if not as a friend then as a wife and yet she chose to brush him off. She has this invincible ego and pride about her status in the harem and in Jalal's life, specially her control on his mind and she is happy to simply bask in that glory. Rest even if it is right in front of her she purposely looks away and thinks otherwise. State of utter DENIAL! Yeh begum pachhtayegi! Jalal will always cherish her as his friend and cousin and as his first wife but his peace of mind and attraction and admiration, passion and love, intelligent conversation, appreciation of arts and culture, practicing of weaponry all will be reserved for Jodha begum henceforth.

And Jalal knew exactly how to keep Jodha and his moments their own. He didn't reveal anything to Ruqaiya and kept it a secret as their own private moment. Yaaayyy!! I am happy!

The lunch date was awesome. I laughed out loud when Hamida declared they should be left alone. Jalal got the drift and looked away with a telltale smile but Jodha was puzzled and uncomfortable. Today it was mostly on their level of understanding of one another, their mental wavelength, their likes and dislikes, their promises and keeping them, their trusts and faith on each other was cemented with a strong base for good. CV's you all set them together on an emotional and mental level before they venture on the physical aspect, which I hope will not be any time soon.

I loved how Jalal could read her before even she was voicing it and promptly answered her questions as well. Loved it when he said if ammijaan didn't support her then he would have because he promised her. 👏 They have really come a long way.

Jalal is much more mature in ways of life and Jodha is a novice but she is learning fast.

But in reality today's show stealer and surprise was Jodha. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears on what I saw. All those probings, hints and suggestions of Moti, Hamida and Salima worked wonders. She not only decided to cook for him but serve him and later eat from the same plate! 😲 Every time Jalal asked some thing from her I was dreading she will be back to her old self of harshness and rude dialogues but lo and behold we saw a complete new Jodha in every respect. 👏

EVen the night time interaction was fabulous. Her mimicking him and his laughing at her, then admiring her interest in learning and acquiring more knowledge, reveling in her appraisal of Mother nature and himself getting a taste of it in her company...was marvelously portrayed. Again it was the connection of their minds today more than passion or romance.

But I was right, he commented her as beautiful and not her reading or the moon! 😃

Now CV's let me tell you about the ominous feeling that is settling on me slowly after all the enthusiasm of the show. Why are you all being so generous to us? Suddenly raining beautiful scenes and conversations? Kya baat hai CV's? Kaun si toofan aanewala hai? What are you going to show next that will break all hell loose? Jab bhi achhi episode aate hai uske baad hi separation or major twist aate hai! Don't give us heart attacks please. I am dreading after Maham will be back Ruqu and Maham will shake hands to drift them apart. And Sharif is already there along with Adham to topple Jalal from the throne.

I was right in thinking it was Sharif who brought this religious issue to the maulvi's attention.

And I want this phase of budding romance to continue for a long time, take their romance slow. do not rush it.

I don't want their romance and love to take a leap!
