I'm with you on this one Alakh and I thought no one else shared my views...😆

Though I enjoyed Jalal's teasing today, I felt bad for Jo's turmoil from Friday night on (much as she is irritating, how disgusting it must have felt for her to think that her modesty was 'taken' in such an odd way)

Same way, I didn't like Jalal lying to Ruqs today 😊 Not at all

I don't think Begums didn't spy on their husband's nightly activities...its actually documented in the chronicles anyway...so Ruqs would have been doing something that's quite normal

Begums had their spies all over the palace and they did know what was happening outside too...

the Shehenshah too had his spies in the Harem that let HIM know of what was going on...

Ufff too much politics this haremland I tell ya!😆

On another note, Ruqs has never really wronged HIM...would he like being lied to by Ruqs about anything...after all, by character they're showing that he's better/more honourable than Ruqs, right?

Exactly what I thought...she is usually ten times worse with Jalal for totally inconsequential stuff and she had such a pheeka reaction,expression and dialogue for something as big as this😆

So its only natural Rukaiya would do this with her husband who has so many wives..

and she feels that Jalal belongs to her more than any other woman. She is his first wife, his childhood friend. So in a way, it is justified.. why do you think she keeps track of his activities? Its her possessiveness and love for him.

But, Ruq's level of loyalty to him/his position is higher and he himself prides on that...on their best-friendship etc etc...

so it seems wrong of him to lie when she asks him...I don't think I'd have felt this way if it was anyone else...🤔

Hmmm ya. I guess you're right.

But they play games with each other all the time.. Let's hope he tells her in a day too like he told Jodha.
