Diksha, what a beautiful post you have written here - I wish everybody would read it just to see things from the other point of view! It is brilliant, because you have not just seen the situation from all angles but also given strong reasons why both of them are behaving this way with each other! I love this post Diksha!😳👍🏼
Thanks Mansi. i just stated few facts i have felt till date while watching JA. to be frank, there r still many more to say.
u know i watched yest's episode once more to see if a question in my mind is right or wrong. for few days, many of us (even myself) r complaining, that CVs r ruining Jodha's character. They r making her a bit negative (in her thinking), passive, foolish, or rather selfish. but now when i see her after yest's episode, i will rather say, CVs have done a very good job.
Jodha is actually shown very strong here. she is a surviver. and survivers r never weak or foolish or passive. after so many incidents happened in her life, she is still not bending a bit. it's not her arrogance, but it's her strength that's keeping her alive.
one big question. all woman in harem or rajputs always have a bottle of poison with them. then what was the reason , she went to that lake to commit suicide? that too when she is shown a good swimmer. she could have taken one spoonful of that poison , and Jalal wouldn't have got a second to save her. so why she chose the lake? did she really wanted to commit suicide or just show him what she can do if he insults her more. (plz don't say, her dasis won't let her die. there is always a time when u r alone for sometime. if one really wants to commit suicide, nothing in the world can ever stop him)
and i think Jalal is well aware of that. ya , being her husband, he can force her. but he knows , his one step and she won't flinch in taking her own life , making him biggest criminal ever. had she given up after so many things, had she surrendered him , he would have used and thrown her and she would have been just a piece of furniture in his harem. but her this very instinct keeps him attracted towards her.
these two r playing hide and seek with eachother. both want to know eachother but keeping a safe distance. whenever and how many times she will try to throw him away from her, that many times he will try to break her innermost circle and get close to her. and same way, whenever he will try to retreat withing his shell, she will keep him on his guards, with her attacks at his soft wounds. here Jalal will have to let go his fears of rejection by all, he should try to know who r really HIS ppl, he should try to trust them (like he trusts that Jodha will never let anything happen to him intentionally). and her verbal attacks on him r just to break his ice , that makes him cold and sometimes cruel.
and he is aware of that, and still hesitant that she can easily see his wounds and make them heal, but somewhere he fears rejection he has got from his 'So Called " own ppl. that's why he is keeping her at distance with his taunting, when he knows he really wants to know 'HIS Amer ki Mirchi' , the real way she is.
