She's the registaan kaa gulaab, that's what he told Jalal when he enquired after Jodha. He would much rather have her for himself esp when Jalal didn't seem interested in Jodha for some time. So he must've thought that he has forgotten about her. Poor chap. He doesn't have much brains & on top of that, understanding A maze-like Jalal is TOO much of a task! Even Maham Anga who is highly intelligent , makes mistakes about him. Sometimes. Yeh toh Adhammiya & Badhamiyya ki bas ki baat hain hi nahin! 😆

Basically it's meant to re-re-emphasize Jodha's famed Beauty!!

Hence these terms & gypsy songs on Jodha. She was very very famous for her Beauty.

😆 I felt that too! I thought Pari was really plain & I find them lauding her Beauty all the time, really funny because she looked like an up-market version of a maid.
