Awww no dear...its all about perspective...in a JA episode some look at it for realism in the romance and some for romance in the realism... 😊

My Musings on today's episode ~

Had Ruqaiyya been witness to the first half of the episode, she would have been well satisfied with Jalal's Siyasati reason for the trip.

"Samay ghao ko bharne ke liye hota hai...hum rajvansh yodhaoon ke ghar janam lete hain...phir yodhaoon se hamaara vivah ho jaata hai...hum maalaon ki bhanti hain jo mann ko jod kar rakhti hain..."
"Itihaas mein yodha jaane jaate hain aur hum anaam reh jaate hain"

Women, the unsung heroes from times immemorial !!⭐️
Loved the beginning and words written by the queen Mother, to mend and maintain relationships despite political strife. 👍🏼

Women, both Rajput and Mughal, were so intrinsic in the political intrigues and so instrumental in keeping alliances together without ever getting acknowledged.

Maharana Pratap decides to accept the invitation for the sake of Rajvanshi maan-maryada and to assess Jalal's strengths. When urged by others , honorable MP states that he shall not attack Jalal secretively especially when accompanied by womenfolk during this wedding festive occasion.

Jalal-Jodha ~ Full-Moon Night ❤️

"The night walked down the sky with the moon in her hand."

Jalal comes out of his khema and gazes at his Begum- then the full moon.

And all I can think of is ~~

" True love comes around once and you have to hold out until then ~ I have been waiting, I have been searching, I am a man under the moon~~"

Well aided and abetted by his Ammijaan...daasi ( who thankfully, in her enthusiasm, didn't bring up the boat ride with Suryabhan..Phew ! 😲 😆)

Jalal gets his heart's desire and a petulant Jodha accompanies him.

There is much discussion on her unbecoming behavior and Jalal's flirtatious, mischievous one ...I am just going to enjoy it with his promise to not let her fall !

And hope that Jodha is more aware...that she is using whatever she knows as the defense against his overwhelming Desire !!

The Hug ...Oops forgot they are in danger 😆

The last thought in my mind...

"Love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired."

I prefer cheese on my pizza please, not my daily serving of JA!

I really hope we get some dargah-swordfight-aarti caliber scenes in Amer. The only scenes that evoked any emotion for me, were Jalal holding his hand out for Jodha (seen independently of the ridiculously planned boat ride) and the hug at the end (although I'd like to have seen Jalal being more protective of Jodha, but we'll see how that plays out tomorrow). Even these were overshadowed by the forced romance.

I was not a fan of Jodha losing her balance over and over, and the wound cleaning was a mixture of deja vu and W*F. Someone definitely cursed Jalal with "Sectumsempra," that's the only explanation for that cut. Why does Jodha need to nurse a conjured-from-nowhere wound, when Jalal is carrying a warehouse of them on his body?
