I read Jaipur royal family have no sons and all are adopted. Because of a curse on Raja Man Singh. Is it true? This is Jodha's nephew Man Singh is it?
It is said in ballads commonly sung by JOGI's that Jaimal-Patta had cursed Raja mansingh of Amer(Jaipur) who was the key strategist on Akbar's side(he conceived the plan to make MOHAR TEKRI-made by paying anyone who could put one basket of sand on that place to make a high point where finally the artillery gun which could reach the fort was installed).The curse was that just like he had destroyed their family-his kingdom will have no males to become a king.Still all kings in jaipur are ADOPTED ones as whoever sits on jaipur throne will not have any male child.
