sooo true..I don't think her character's necessary for the story any more..she's done her bit 😆 telling us what we already know...

I noticed her too...actually, I can never forget her face since her talent is something that always awed me...and Disha she wasn't his wife...I don't know if you read the post about Harem life that Alakh had put up a while ago..it shows that a Harem was a city by itself - not a place that only had wifes/slaves of the king... but, ladies of other professions were also part of the Harem - entertainers, guards, musicians, doctors, spies etc!

When Jalal summoned her and got her to do the painting of Jodha, she apologized and stated that she was a nomadic painter initially...it'd be automatically understood when he used her services during the MC track that she was also now part of the Harem...Jalal was a connoisseur of such forms of art...so,I'd take it that she was his loyal subject living in the harem to serve the Royals...hence, obviously she shed her tears for the king when news of his ill health came by

Oh yes shradha di,I do know that.But the way she was crying,why would some random harem lady cry that way? 😆 It was like one of these scenes in k3g,in the end,when the grandma dies and then everyone is crying.But kareena was crying the most,even though her had zero one on one equations with the grandma 😛.In an interview,she had confessed that she didn't even know who had died 😛

Unfortunate reality of many-a-serial...smaller nuances that make so much sense in that 1 epi totally disappearing into oblivion...in fact there might only be a handful of serials that manage to tie up such loopholes...

On the other hand, things of lesser consequence/interest might sometimes take up far more screen space than required...E.g. The Dibbi!
