i always wonder..but today.. i have no answer how can a mother leave her son on death bed... to rescue the person who intentionally or unintentionally responsible of his condition...jalal was right..he is longing for her mother's effection ...felt very lonely when he said...his mothr loves jodha even more than him

and about history... Ruqayya is humayyu neice..his younger step brother hindal mirza's daughter... hindal mirza lost his life for humayun cause..in the battle btw humayun and kamran mirza... after this when all family humayun, hamida and jalal unite ... humayun as uncle of orphan little ruqayya became her guardian and wedded her to jalal.

Very well put up Mansi..agree with you completely.. Hamida's behavior is way too unrealistic. I don't understand her uncondtional love for jodha😕

Hamida bano was 19 years younger to Humayun and loved Hindal Mirza, Rukaiya's father

Do you know if Hamida was involved with arranging Ruq's marriage with Jalal, or was that done by Bairam Khan and mahamanga without hamida involvement?😲

Hamida has never had the time or the energy to devote to her children whether it be Jalal or Bakshi Bano. She was too busy staying by her husband's side & running from door to door, avoiding Death to put anything into her children. Jalal as we all know, is immsensely bitter towards her for neglecting him as a little boy, Bakshi Bano is in her mother's mould 😉 And would not hold it against her at all. Plus ,I presume she had been married off very early & then became a widow. They seem to have a nice relationship though.

Seeing Jalal's blunt & very aloof behaviour with her she might be scared to make overt effort with Bakshi Bano. Hasn't she tried countless times only for Jalal to brush her off like a pesky fly or worse, make her a common messenger with comments that are meant to show how her little she matters to him like In episode no 2 in the Mughal camp; when in actuality, the Reality is exactly the opposite! "Ammi Jaan, jab Aap Agra pahonchr, toh Aap Humaara paigaam dijiega. Ek Badi Ammi ko ki Hum unhe bahut yaad karte hain. Aur doosra, Ruqaiyya Begum ko , ki Hum unhe.. Din mein do baar to yaad kar hi lete hain 😊 (Smiles) " .. And walks off with Hamida Bano, looking very hurt.

Jodha is a Clean Slate with which she can start off afresh! And who knows! Jodha could serve as being the paak raasta towards her Jalal-Jaan too! 😊
