Feminism is not about preaching womanly virtues, but about giving rights of folly as much to a woman as to a man.
And, you are right Ekta has not even started with Feminism yet...picture abhi baki hai merey dost

thank you so much for the compliments.

They are showing Rukaiya like a spoilt brat who gets away with everything.
I would have defended her had she slapped her once after Jodha's confession.. but this was OTT.

ummm yeah

There are things Jalal get easily forgiven for mistakes he makes whereas majority of the threads bash at Jodha's mistake. Ruqaiya might be the high queen but Jalal will not be happy to know that Ruqaiya slapped Jodha.

I know right?

Yes!!! We do come down heavy on a female lead when she makes a mistake...if, she is always right...we call her too good to be true...

Hi Donna,
I am so much in agreement with all that you stated...😊..You have stated the point perfectly.👏
Ruqaiya had overstepped in her capacity as the dictat/punishment could only have been given by Emperor himself or Hamida Banu... Seems our Jalaal's life is Infested with opinionated (and most of the time wrongly so) and egoistic women (RB, JB , MA)who are a bit confused about their duties and limitations ...😕

Perhaps the message got lost in translation. What I mean by queen is a legally wed wife (begum) who is not a concumbine or captured in war. By that standard Rukaiya is the HIGH queen (begum-e-khaas) but still a queen and hence not one to punish Jodha.
Again, the only people who can do so are the emperor and his mother.
What I am saying is if Jalal had been well and Ruk had slapped Jodha for whatever reason, Jodha had the right to seek justice in court. But because the circumstances are different, this cannot happen.
What Ruk did (at a different time) could get her punished. She CANNOT get Jodha arrested unless she is a proven traitor. Why? Because Ruk is not in charge.
It's not a matter of opinion here, it's just the rules. I can sense that you side with Ruk here but that's not the point. It simply cannot happen.

Jalal was dismissive as far as the precap goes but let's see what happens there.
THANK YOU. I see a flood of threads blaming Jodha everyday and I try not to intervene but I am always tempted. GAWD! I want to tell em so bad to stop picking at the poor girl. we know she is a kid, she is naive. let her grow into a woman in peace people!
