Beautiful analysis Mallikaji 😊 loved the way you have accurately described what all the important women in Jalaal's life are going through right now.
You have said exactly what I was thinking about all four characters. I love Hameeda's character - so gentle yet so strong - a perfect model for a Mughal Queen. Jodha has a wonderful role model to learn from when she truly becomes the Queen (as you so rightly pointed out she has not yet earned that title).
It looks like this track is not just a wake-up call for Jodha but also serves as a revelation for many characters. Ruku who, as you said, is a megalomaniac obsessed with power and prestige but when her beloved childhood friend and husband is in grave danger, all thoughts of kings, queens, kingdoms and power fly out the window and what matters is Jalaal's life. Similarly, MA who is willing to kill Jalaal's unborn children, still weeps for him. Different shades and relationships and yet the same bond of love running through. In normal times, it may be hidden but it is at times like these that all masks and facades fall away and raw emotion comes to the fore.
Jodha,of course, is racked by guilt as expected. But in keeping with her character, she manages to stay calm and resourceful instead of losing herself to hysteria like the others. She only lets out a little of what she is feeling when Hameeda talks about Jodha being in danger - unconcern for her life and the fear that Jalaal might not make it.
One of the reasons I like this show and this particular track is that the makers are paying attention to every small detail. It's nice that they haven't lost sight of their story in quest of trps and romance. I liked the MA scene only because they accurately depicted the very real and grave danger a kingdom is in when its King is fighting for his life - especially when he is surrounded by traitors. This track is turning out to be a good one 😃
