The journey had been terrifying, not only practically but mentally too.. Everyone was so hassled up in the journey..
They had literally hushed and rushed all through it!

Jalal had almost gone numbed by now. He had undergone such pain and worry during this journey, he had never been ever.

The Hakim had been tending at her all the while during the journey but Jodha wouldnt budge.
She was like..not responding to the medications or treatment!

** Present **

Jalal carried Jodha is in his arms to the room..all lost and terrified at her condition.
He had gone hollow from inside after her accident.. SHe had fallen and stumbled in front of him..She was so helpless that time..WHy??Why didn't he protect her? Why she at all had to experience this?? Aahh! His heart bled..

He was ashamed of himself. He couldnt even protect her from the accident. He had sweared long back that he wont ever let any problem, any worry, any wound to come to Jodha.

Anyways, He was very quiet, not able to believe the reality yet.

He made her lay on the bed with utmost care and love and sat down by her side, Hakims were tending to her.

EVeryone in the palace was shocked beyond core. Hameeda was most affected by this incident. She could not believe this.

Then She turned to Jalal..

Hameeda (all crying) - Ye kya ho gaya Jalal? Kaise hua? Aap sab ko Ajmer Sharif ki Paak yatra par gaye the..To humari Jodha beta ko kya ho gaya..

Jalal was too disturbed to answer. He just said with a teary yet confirming voice - Jodha ko kuch nahi hogaa!! Aap fikar na karein Ammi-Jaan..

Hameeda could understand his feelings.. She could see and feel both of their love ...she hugged Jalal..assuring him.

EVeryone left their room from Jalal's order. It was already more than midnight and he didnt want to disturb anyone's sleep.

Hakims were still treating her and slowly Jodha was responding to the treatment.
Her condition was improving second by second. Jalal continuosly held her hand in his. And caressed her forehead.

Finally, Hakims wrapped up all her wounds and applied all the necessary medicines... Jodha's condition was much better now.
Their faces covered up with worry but slowly it changed to UNCONTROLLABLE and GENUINE smile..

Jalal noticed this and asked in despair - What happened? Why are you all smiling?

Hakims could not control themselves and said - SHahenshah! Humein behad khed hai ke Mallika-e-hind ke saath ye dardnak haadsa hua..lekin..

Jalal - Lekin kya?

Hakims - Lekin..Allah ne aap par meher kar di hai.. Jodha Begum ki haalat ab thik hai.. Aur ..VO..

Jalal was so happy to listen that. His happiness knew no bounds.. His Jodha was improving..

He said - Par kya? Aap humein saaf saaf bataiye..

Hakims - Shahenshah! Mallika-e-hind maa bane wali hain.. Jee han.. Vo pet se hain.. Aur sabse ascharya ki bat yeh hai ke seedhiyon se girne ke
bawajood aapke bache ko kuch nahi hua.. Ye sab us parvardigar ki meher hain..Badhai ho shahenshah.. Aap waldin bane wale hain (lol..is it waldin or waleeda?)

These words were a SHOCK to Jalal.. He.. He could not believe it. It was the best thing he had EVER HEARD in his whole life..
Time stopped for him. Silence could be heard, even! Breeze blew and Hakims left without his order.. They knew..everything would be alright now!

Jalal's face enlightened.. His face glowed with uncomparable shine.. He looked at oblivious Jodha.. SLowly his smile grew more and more both, quantitatively and qualitatively...

His ebullence, his happiness, his joy, knew no boundaries. His world had taken a total 360 degrees turn.

A moment before, he was caught up in the tides and flood of guilt, sadness and worries. He had been so terrified.
But now, Suddenly,..His divine visit paid it. He was feeling like the luckiest and happiest man in the world..luckiest husband..He thanked Allah for this moment.

He caressed Jodha's forehead and kissed her slowly on her head. He had received the most beautiful gift..most precious gift He could have ever got!

He said to Jodha - Ya Allah! Jodha Begum aapne to jaise hum par jaadu hi kar diya hai.. Hum nahi bata sakte ke aaj hum kitne khush hain...
Shukriya humari Mallika-e-hind..Shukriya.. Aaj aapne humara jeevan sampurn kar diya hai.. Humein vo nazraana diya hai.. Jiske liye hum kaise shukriya arz karein..humne nahi pata..
Aapne humari zindagi swarg se bhi sundar kardi hai.. Shukriya.. Ab hum aapki aur humare hone wale bache zindagi mein koi mushkil nahi aane denge..

And He slowly laid beside her.. squirmed his hand around Jodha's tummy and kissed her on there..

He wanted to share this news with everyone.. but he thought..No! My Mallika deserves to know it first!

He dozed off near Jodha and thanked her and Allah for this perfect life.

* Ruqaiya's Chamber *

Hoshiyar adored Ruqaiya for her mind-blowing actions.

Humse humare Shauhar ko humse alag karne ka.. Ab jald hi uski maut ka karan banenge hum ..and she laughed loudly with much hysterical expressions.

Hoshiyar was terrified inside. What if she really did something like that? But immediately he put his thoughts away..For he
was loyal to her.. He'd always support her.
