Jodha freshens up and comes out. Jalal looks at his Beauty Queen and smiles. Jodha gives a puzzled look.

She opened her mouth and took the bite. Jalal looked anxious. He asked : Hows the food Jodha?

She said to herself : Humein aisa kyon lag raha hai ke is Bar Shahenshah koi chal nahi kar rahe hain! Kyon is bar unki batein sachi hain?
Kyon humein itni khushi mehsoos ho rahi hai? Aur kya unhone sach mein humare liye Jashn rakha hai?

Other Begums who were there in garden stared at her.They were mesmerised by her beauty. She looked like an angel. They were highly jealous. Jodha was surprised.

Hamida : Jodha beta ab aap kaisi hain?

Jodha : Hum bilkul theek hain Ammi Jaan.

Hamida :Ya Allah Tera lakh lakh Shukr hai! Hum us parvardigar ko dil se shukriya ada karte hain ki usne Humari Jodha beta ka khayal rakha!

Part 14 :

It was afternoon time. The arrangements for the function had been done.

All the ladies in Harem were eagerly getting ready for the function that was going to be held in honor of Begum Jodha.
Some of them were happy that finally, Shahenshah cared for her. While some were so Jealous seeing his new Avatar, including Ruqaiya.

Ruqaiya convinced herself : Huhh!! That wretch!! I know Jalal has some intention behind this. He will always love his Ruqaiya.(and she smiled trickly)

She thought : Today I will dress like the most beautiful lady on Earth,, so that, even if the function is for Jodha Begum,, no one can move their eyes from RUQAIYA.
Even Jalal will fall for her again. ..and thinking this, She got ready for function.

Jodha in her chamber, was totally confused. Firstly, She could not understand his sudden care and second, she could not decide what to wear.
Suddenly, Moti entered with a parcel in her hands.

Jodha : Ye kya hai Moti?
Moti(very happy) : Jodha!! ye humein Shahenshah ne diya hai. Unhone khas apke liye bheja hai. Vo chahte hain ki aap ye aaj ke Jashn mein pehne.

Jodha was surprised. She took the parcel, opened it and saw a very beautiful Rajputani Traditional Lehnga Choli. She was very happy seeing it.
The parcel also contained priceless gems jewelry and gold jewelry.

Moti and Reva helped Jodha to get ready. She was looking so beautiful.

The Guards proclaimed: Ba Adab Ba mulaiza Hoshiyar! Shahenshah-e-HInd, Jalaludeen Mohammad Akar tashreef la rahe hain.

Jodha was surprised. Jalal entered her room and stood stunned!! He was deeply mesmerised with the angel who was standing on front of her.
Jodha looked like Allah's angel , looking lovely in the dress and wearing dazzling sparkling jewelry. He was lost in her.

Suddenly, Jodha said : Aap yahan? Only then , he came back in reality.

Jalal : Humne apse kaha tha na, ki hum apko khud lene ayenge. Isiliye hum aa gaye. Vaise aap, khush hokar bhagti daudti aur titliyon ke saath
khelti hui bahut achi lagti hain. He smirked.

Jodha blushed.

Jalal offered his hand to her, and SHe hesitated at first, then placed her hand on his, and both of them walked together, for the function.

As they walked through corridors, garden, etc. Everyone stood surprised. Hameeda was so happy but Maham was burning within.

Maham rushed to her own chamber and fumed in anger. Tears also rolled down her eyes. She was so angry. Jodha was given so much honour.
She remembered the color Jodha had thrown on her. She said, instead of getting punishment, she is now enjoying her life.

HUm hi itne bade bevkoof hain. Us din humare paas mauka tha unhe saza dene ka lekin humne bevkoofon ki tarah apna gussa, apni chid
unpar nikali. Agar unhe saza-e-maut dete to aaj humein ye din na dekhna padta. SHe fumed again.

All this was watched by Adham Khan. He was enraged too much. He thought - Ammi Jaan took the biggest risk of killing Ruqaiya's baby,,just for me!!
Today its my turn to prove her, that I also love her. He will not leave That Jodha!! His face gleamed with evil smile.

**Function**

Everyone had gathered in the Function hall. There was a Center ground for various performances, side stalls of various kinds of food, Seats arranged for everyone and
2 Main Royal thrones for Jodha and Akbar, and along side special seats for various Begums and Ministers.

Everyone had gathered in the hall and took respective seats. Each Begum looked stunning. Ruqaiya also looked Beautiful.
All waited for AkDHa.

Their arrival was announced : Ba Adab Ba mulaiza Hoshiyar! Shahenshah-e-HInd, Jalaludeen Mohammad Akar apni Begum Jodha ke saath padhar rahe hain.

Jodha and Jalal entered the hall. EVeryone's eyes were wide-opened to see extremely gorgeous and most beautiful Begum Jodha,
She was looking like a true queen. Jodha was still nervous and looked down throughout!

They both proceeded towards the thrones. Jodha turned to go towards the seats where all Begums were sitting, but Jalal said loudly
: No Jodha Begum,,not there.. Here..He pointed at the throne.

SHe was really shocked. Still, she managed to smile faintly and sat beside Jalal.

Jalal addressed the audience : Jaisa ki aap sab jante hain, ki Jodha Begum bahut takleef se hokar guzri hain, isi liye
aaj hum ne is Jashn ka ayojan kiya hai. Ye Jashn Begum Jodha ke sahi salamat hone ke karan rakha gaya hai. Hum chahte hain
ki sab log unhe duyain de aur is Jashn ka anand uthayen.

The function was started. There were musical programmes, folk dances, dramas and various cultural programmes. Jodha was really happy.

When half of the programme ended, All were called for lunch, The rest half was going to be held after Lunch.
Lunch took place. All were seated again. The function continued.

The hall was full of claps noises and happiness. Everyone was cheerful. The function had been a grand one.

When, the function ended, Jalal again addressed the audience : Hum is Jashn se behad khush hain! Isme sabhi bhaag lene walon ka shukriya ada karte hain.
Sabhi ko nazraane bhet diye hain. Everyone was gifted priceless gifts including the participants, the audience, the Begums and ministers.

He said, Humne Sabhi ko kuch na kuch nazraana pesh kiya hai. Lekin, ab kuch aur bhi kehna chahte hain.
Humne bahut vichar ke baad aur apne khaas mantriyon se vichar vimarsh ke baad kuch tay kiya hai.

Hum abhi se aur aaj se Yeh Elaan karte hain ki Humari Khaas Begum, Begum Jodha "Mallika - E- Hindustaan " karar ki Jaati hain.
You all will address Jodha Begum as Mallika e Hinduatan. Me being Muslim and she being Hindu will unite our country.

Jodha was shocked to even realise what he said. Everyone in The audience Clapped loudly in happiness. Maham ANga smiled fakely but was burning inside.
Ruqaiya was so shocked, tear rolled her eyes but she smiled fakely. She could not imagine Jalal doing this.

Everyone in the hall talked among themselves and were happy with the decision. Jalal came near Jodha and saw her. She looked puzzled but happy.
He explained her That she truly deserved to be Mallika Hindustan cuz she has all qualities. She was very happy.

She had ocnfirmed that Jalal truly cared for her now. He was not acting, or playing another game. She blushed. She had slowly started
liking Jalal. She said : Shukriya SHahenshah lekin iski koi zarurat nahi thi.

Jalal shushed her smilingly and DIsmissed the function.
