Very nicely said. I agree with your comments about Jodha. I hope we will see some development in her character. I would like to see Jodha's understanding of Jalaal be a factor in the development of their relationship.

Hello aunty,
Commenting for the 1st time here though i read your posts everyday n truly love them!! Beautiful post once again...I loved the Jalal-Rahim scene a lot..I like Jodha usually(a lot on thursday),the only complaint being exactly what you have said..It does'nt require an emotional connect to a person to understand his/her pain and knowing what importance Mahamanga has in Jalal's life i would have liked her to atleast think about it.

one thing for sure, Jodha will start understanding Jalal only when he shows respect (if not love) towards her. afterall she is outsider to Agra's surroundings and politics. Jalal has already seen lot of things and inhumanity from childhood, lived with it, while Jodha is very naive to these things.
abt Jalal knowing MA from childhood, he even knows Adham and MA were behind Bairam Khan's murder, still he spared them.

and abt Motibai understanding more than Jodha, then again there is a difference in their raising. Has Jodha ever suffered in Amer or has she ever have to fight for anything?

agreed over what u said abt Ratansing, but just like Jalal loves and trusts MA blindly, Jodha hates him blindly. So in a way both r blind. So time to dena hi padega.

1st of all jodha doesnt know about BK's death. so she cant expect jalal to believe her over maham. tht was my only point. & crying over ratan singh is lil illogical for me. bharmal was right about ratan singh. i am not talking about emotional connections, its not possible so soon, but at least jalal's horrible childhood should have made her think. 2ndly, i am not saying her to understand jalal, but sumtimes her thinking r not logical. ruquiya also disrespects her but she feels for her. its not about understanding its about logic.

While everyone here is revelling in the beauty of your post aunty, I'm relishing the delight of having been given the honour of a special mention...🥳
yes...I'm one to enjoy the smaller pleasures of life!
***********
Needless to say your write-up was brilliant...keep it coming aunty...we need your posts to keep our spirits lifted - seeing how (I fear that) the MC track might extend out to the most part of next week too...😭
As for the SBS segment - from what I've seen of them (in this serial and others) they're generally not wrong - there might be exaggerations, but its still a glimpse of what's to come...
As for making no sense, this entire dibbi track has ceased to make sense - so, as you mentioned - I'm not going to break my head over it any more!😭

Fabulous post! :)

Agree with you completely! :D

The best part of your post is that you have correctly put forward our expectation from Jodha-

an unbiased analytical mind who can read a situation without attaching any emotion to it.👏

I was going to clarify that, Munni, thanks for doing it ahead of me!

Salima tells Jodha that when Jodha visits her in her chambers, do you remember now? That is when Jodha also finds out that Rahim is not Jalal's son, as she assumes initially. She also learns about the childhood friendship between Ruqaiya and Jalal, about Ruqaiya's inability to have a child, and about the parents of that little Hindu boy being released by Jalal.

Rahim's real mother was reportedly a Rajput, and perhaps his profound Krishna bhakti came from that connection. I have read many of Rahim's dohe at school, they always have Rahiman at the beginning of the second line. He was also later one of Akbar's generals, and led the campaign against Maharana Pratap of Mewar in 1580.

She will get there one day, my dear, but the ability to, as the French say, get under the skin of another will never come to her, for it is inborn. I am glad you liked the post. I loved the episode, but for me the highlight was the Jalal and Rahim scene.

As for the lack of bias, thank you again. It is because I have no favourites, but I have my point of view, which I try to make as fair as I can!
