right from the time JA started we all r drooling over Jalal this ,Jalal that. (of course including me. and that too i think coz he is Rajat). now after yesterday's episode, i m tired of his blind faith and his attitude of never learning from previous mistakes. so i just started thinking in a different side.
For a change in Jodha's POV.
Jodha : meaning of the name is " LOVE". a sweet young beautiful girl. loving and caring towards her family, her country. belongs to royal family so proudness, self respect and cultured nature comes to her naturally. up till now lived a very protected life. she is soul of her family, their pride. she loves and respects others , be it small child or some old person, rich or poor , of any cast. soft hearted, loving nature. raised to be a perfect daughter, a perfect sister and a perfect princess and then to be wedded in a royal family to be a perfect wife, a perfect DIL, a perfect mother and a perfect queen.
her marriage is fixed to somone who seems to be perfect for her in every way. even she has started liking him. Life is a perfect bliss for Jodha.
then there is Jalal. heartless , cruel king belonging to some other religion. so she is told. so even if she hasn't seen him, she thinks of him as an enimy who wants to capture her country, ruin it, kill her ppl. and then she hates him even more. if this was not enough, his army attcks her country just before her wedding and her fiance is killed, her brothers held captive. AND THE PRICE FOR SAVING HER COUNTRY IS JODHA HERSELF.
she is asked to marry a person she hates more than death. she is asked to sacrifice her lofe for her country , her family. she does it. but what she gets?
a heartless husband? insults from day one from everybody be it himself , his other wives or MA.
what we expect? since she has sacrificed her life, she should accept him just as he is? no. she too is royal blood afterall. just because he has heard her saying she hated him, he wants to break her. has he ever tried to know why she really hates him so much? he keeps insulting her day by day that too publicly (when he asked her to sing in darbar, or when he asked her to play against Ruku or when he accused her of killing his child). he is Shehenshah, so his ego is bigger than his life, and so he won't apologize to her publicly, but a soft gesture of sorry by sending a note of sorry or sending her some gift would have done. but no, he won't do even that.
instead, given next moment she utters some words against him or MA he is ready to punish her again without understanding her feelings.
when a girl comes to her Sasural , it takes her few days to adjust. and if the marriage is taken place in such a haste, it may takes few months to understand everything. but Jodha has faces all insults and hatred from begining as a result of her sacrifice. how will she react in these conditions. see HB has given her love, Jodha returned love with respect. she proved a good DIL. she loves Rahim, respects Salima. so why can't others.
i don't think Jodha is wrong all the time. just that she hasn't got time to adjust properly, know everybody. and given time she will definitely prove what royal blood and sanskaar she has. but till then we should bear her the way she behaves. afterall our dearest Jalal is behaving like a brainless idiot, a perfect example for how a king shouldn't be.
zyada hua kya? jaane do. just after Jalal accusing Jodha over MA, and i lost my head, hating him. so thought abt Jodha a bit more. but tomorrow if he behaves properly with her, again I ll say, com on Jodha , start afresh with him. else live him permanantly for us. yahan bahut log hai use chahnewale...
