Jalal and Jodha: where goes the relationship?

Where goes this Jodha-Jalal relationship now that it has hit its lowest point, is the million dollar question. When the Creatives gave some tweets at the start of this miscarriage twist, they are supposed to have said that the whole idea was to create this twist to take the love story of Jodha and Jalal to a new level. To me personally, the precap that appeared yesterday was the most interesting indication of how the story may - and should proceed. The background to the current relationship of Jodha and Jalal is that so far it has been based on lots of wrong assumptions on the part of both about each other. Jodha has judged Jalal by what she has heard of his barbarism, and what little she has seen of his uncontrolled bursts of anger. Jalal has judged Jodha by what he has heard of her as a covetable object, and what little he has seen of her as a hatred-fillled shrew. But yesterday in the precap the real opportunity for the beginning of a new chapter in their lives was demonstrated when Jodha broke that glass vase. In that scene Jodha says "Like this glass vase that is broken, neither reputation nor trust nor relationships can ever be joined again, and even if there is a lot of repair done, the scars will always be there". That's very true, my dear girl, but I wish - I so wish - that Jalal would now have the breadth of mind to tell her : "Jodha, my dear, that exactly why we should not attempt to either restore or repair what's broken, but we should buy a whole new and better vase". The way forward, according to me, is for both to wipe the slate completely clean, and to start looking at each other all over again. She should not look at him as the mad man who compounded her misery with the false accusation. He should not look at her as the woman whose already measly impression of him has gone from worse to worst! If Hamida has any sway over their thinking, she at least could tell them "Begin anew!" for that is the only way forward. I hope that is what the Creatives meant when they said the relationship of Jodha and Jalal will now hit a new level. I hope it is not just the old relationship in an altered "eyelocks" format, but a whole new way for both of them to see each other sans past colourings!

Such a beautiful take on jalal-jodha relationship...👏👏Mansi, hats off...🤗Awesome...@bold- I just wish jalal would say something like that with utmost sincerity...it will mark a new chapter in jalal jodha relationship..

Skanda I totally agree with your points...
The proof against Amerians was weak and Jalal himself admits it in self talk and the investigation was weak and Jodha being proved innocent just because a dibbi has been found in Salima's room is laughable...Is this how such serious crimes were solved in Mughal empire?😃
Ruku on one hand wants Jodha to be punished and on the other hand plays detective with Hoshiyar in toe...
Jalal took Amerians to test their loyality and they passed the test...but Jalal didnot hesitate even a second to raise his sword on Jodha ? Is there no feeling of gratefulness in him?
I am fedup of watching Jalal sleeping with other women...At present I dont find a single reason for Jodha to fall in love with him...😡

Ela, the situation is so messed up now between them, that's why I am hoping they would make a "fresh start". Any amount of Band-Aid on the current situation won't help, I feel!

2. TRPs at the cost of the story consistencies?

The narrow scoping of the characters was not the only demerit of the TRP chase that the Creatives were attempting. The storyline itself became incredible and to a large extent stagnant and inconsistent. We were told that there was this huge crisis in the Kingdom of Jalal where he had lost the waaris he so wanted. He had suspicious circumstances to contend with, and a set of ready suspects in the form of Jodha and the Amer boys. The whole length and breadth of his court, his family, his subjects were agog with the mystery of the miscarriage. And yet the Creatives forgot the simple fact that in any mystery the protagonist has to at least make some attempts at investigation to unravel the mystery? Should the principal character - Jalal - get so caught up in his anger at the turn of events, that he totally forgets to initiate any sort of enquiry or investigation? Should that investigation be reduced to a small search of the harem by his woolly-headed wife who is dithering between calling the same Jodha a suspect at some times, and exonerating her also at some other times? Does an Emperor of nearly two-thirds of the great land of Hindustan leave it to the nazarband baandhis to bring their own proof to prove their innocence, when they cannot even stir outside their custodial quarters? Does the sane Emperor then try to punish the same baandhis by insisting they wage war for him against their own sambhandis, putting himself at the mercy of these same ill-used and probably antagonistic baandhis to save him at war? At the end of the ten days, does the Emperor then say in the open Sabha that the baandhis were unable to bring proof, but he has one dibbi found by his wife in the harem that gives him the reason to let loose the same baandhis? What on earth is this storyline? Can anybody with an ounce of intelligence buy this method of showing a murder mystery in a famed and historic royal court? Does it not make everyone look like a fool of the highest order - the Emperor, the surrounding Court, the baandhis themselves, the Creatives and most of all the viewers? Just because the TRPs jumped this last week does that justify a storyline that strains all credibility? Is anything annd everything OK so long as the TRP charts justify it? If this is the storyline when TRPs are on the rise, consider how desperately ridiculous the storyline may start getting when TRPs show a small dip!

The so called investigation was a joke...I still don't know who the hell was in-charge of the investigation..??ruk had said MCs had happened in the past as well...couldn't she go and talk to all the victims...?? Couldn't she enquire abt previous MCs from Khwaja shera...?there could be a pattern or something...but, no...nothing at all...

Yesterday, ruk gives an earful and asks jodha to be mindful of people listening to their conversation...a good advice...but..if, I remember correctly...Hoshiyar was present during the 'oh so important' conversation with the dibbi-maker...she should have dismissed hoshiyar first and then should have proceeded with the conversation...practise what you preach lady!!!

Jodha didn't open her mouth once to defend herself...not once she said 'I didn't do it..'..at least in mirchi kaand her arguments had logic...but, this time she was all silent...kyu???

The characters should have some consistency..

Jyooo !

Pure WU ka kabada kar ditta ! 🤣 WHAT are you reading re ?

I never argued about Jalal testing Ameris !

I infanct answered that why Jalal is not a total fool of making a tent in middle of people he suspects to be bak stabbers (amer boys )
He is a king and that too of India and that too with a huge ego ! He will never be afraid of 4 men attacking him ! 😆 do you think he will have my respect in his courtiers if he said "please call my entire army near my tent... Bhagwan das may kill me " ? 😆
They only talked about staying safe from those four men , and as a sleek warrior Jalal was more concerned of any of their sinister plans rather than them attacking him !

Infanct it was NEVER Jalal ka self thought in this whole war to test the amer loyalty ! He doubted hence told his ministers to keep ears on amer ! 😳

His fault like you too agree , was being back stabbed by sujanpur of attacking at rest time and that what I said I will give a doubt since their are many war stories of the most biggest rulers losing it by trusting the enemy of following rules !

That's why my concern was too that the protestors could raise a halla that they showed sujanpur Rajputs so so coward ! 😡 just to make Jalal lose !

They could have taken a better route , but this route is not totally foolish is what I wanted to say !

Sword lifting --- meri maa I did say that was the biggest thorn for me ! 😒 they ridiculed both cultures of making Jalal hit a woman and jodha accepting death by enemy ! 🤢

I NEVERRR justified the sword scene at all ! 😡 😆 yes Jalal did lose his brains but still I never justified him totally on the killing spree ! 😭

Yippeee the show is rocking 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Its nearly no 2!! in such a short time.

Nice analysis😳👏. BTW how do you write such long posts?😃
It seems Ekta is following the basic track of movie with the twists being different like the hatred between Jalal and Jodha-allegation of killing child vs affair, Maham Anga case.
The best part of the whole week was Ruqaiya using her intelligence and stumbling upon the Dabbi maker. She saved Jodha from Jalal and also told Jalal not to put blame on Salima as she is a suspect right now. Ruqaiya character had the best time this week only if the writers give her feelings for her lost child also. She was smart to tell Jodha that she should think what to speak in front of whom- sending Hoshiyar out. Perhaps this will be a learning ground for Jodha. Just hope the writers dont turn it into stupid jealousy track. Infact Jalal should appoint Ruquaiya as the official law and order head😆 SHe will do a good job.
Jalal was shown to be dumb many times😆😆 Accepting Jodha as the culprit, caught unawares during the camp during the attack ( which he launched!!😆😆). He is still not growing up- I found his behavior with Salima improper😡 and later revealing all to Maham-stupid.
Maham Anga and Adham scene was good. THe way Adham suspects that the crime can be executed so well only by his Mother is horrible and admirable- for her intelligence and planning. Adham is like a small kid who goes and cribs to his mother of how the other kids are harrowing him. Adham is the life and nemesis of Maham Anga.
The revealing of Maham as the culprit-murderer is disappointing because she was the nurse and did feed Jalal and then she did say she accepts Jalal as his own. I wish they had shown someone else. This is too ruthless and ruining the nursing role.

Moti bai only irritates now, her role is becoming irrelevant it seems.

Hamida scene was good. Only her scenes need to add value to the story.

Jodha's anger and outburst was good but it needs to be carefully crafted so that it does not become repetitive or losing value. Jodha's self respect needs to be portrayed nicely.

good analysis , Jyoti. but i don't think MA will be exposed. coz Jalal won't believe anybody if MA's names comes, not even Ruku, and by no chance Jodha. he already knows MA and Adham killed BK, so what he did? he married Salima, but no punishment for MA and AK. same will happen here. till the time he himself witnesses with his own eyes , that MA can stoop so low, he will continue his badi ammi song.
