Hehe, I know. I am quite immune to all his romancing other begums these days. I guess we are more accepting since this is a historical and Akbar did have many wives. 😆

Jalal is not going to sleep with who he suspects is his baby's killer.He is testing her.

No offence but she looks way older than him.Jalal looks like he is romancing his Aunty.

That's the point, I think. Ekta is trying to sell the idea of Jalal and Salima as an impossible couple from the beginning. And it is a better decision to portray Salima as an older woman, which makes the chances of any romantic inclination between them very little. Some pretty young girl as Salima would not have been feasible as a wise widow for me.
