In my mind, the jury is still out on Ruqu - she was going to let Moti Bai be killed, after all. I think she knows that Jalal will never forgive her if she let one of his wives be killed when she knew that she was innocent; perhaps she learnt her lesson from the incident with Moti Bai.

The scene when her brothers defended Jalal was far more chivalrous than their scenes at the battle yesterday..Yesterday, they were in public scrutiny and had to carry out their duty...today, they were in a closed room and yet they didn't allow Jodha to speak ill of him...thats true dedication and loyalty!

True. Within the four walls, we saw what the Rajput brothers really think of Jalaal. They do value him inspite of his follies. Jodha needs to learn that from her brothers - perseverance.😳

Right - she walks the tight rope between black and white - good , by choice, evil . Bad, by choice. Her evolution will be when she thinks beyond the empress status and mechanical treating of ppl. Jodha's concern unsettled her because she has never given that kind of compassion.

I loved Jodha too - she didn't mind being vulnerable and honest in front of Jalaal and that is true spirit , IMO.

Jodha- Again I loved your take on Jodha's emotional turmoil.Yes what jodha said was not some words of a fierce Rajput but more of a wife who is hurt, devastated from inside. And yes in those era women used to consider their husbands equivalent to god. That's why Jodha after marriage with Jalal never ever said that she wants "Jalal ka sar", She never wished any bad for Jalal. She after being hurt and humiliated so much also never prayed to god anything bad for Jalal rather she chose to end her life.. That means she considers Jalal as her lawfully husband.
